Please, don't be my neighbor.
I know this isn't a popular opinion to have but I actually didn't dislike Enterprise at all. Some parts were a stupid, and DS9 was still leagues better, but I don't think Enterprise was a bad show or even necessarily a bad Star Trek.

At least the Xindi arc was an attempt at serializing the show. The last few episodes of the arc (not counting the last part with the Nazi's) were actually pretty decent if not entirely Star Trek-ish.

They patched out all of the methods for killing pubbies in social zones. We do have disco balls and party poppers though and they enrage the spergs just fine. Ask in chat if you don't have a popper quite a few of us have them stockpiled for new players.

The use of bar graphs instead of a pie chart for the doff mission completion odds is terrible, what the hell were they thinking? They previously had just about the ideal graph design for that sort of data and then they switch it to one that's entirely unsuitable. :psyduck:

Or off the exchange for energy credits; they're under the "reward packs" tab.

This is probably the better option unless you're space rich; the cost of the items are usually noticeably less than the cost of the keys to get the lobi for the items.

The Xindi carrier looks really good on paper. It'll be quite a bit cheaper if you give the pubbies a couple of weeks to undercut themselves though.

Nah, no chance at this. Only thing that cheap is the Suliban ship and the Elachi escort. The former, because of a surplus due to people hunting for Bulwarks/JHAS and the latter because pubbies hate escorts (also surplus due to people hunting secondary Elachi drops) . I'd be real surprised if this carrier settles below 150m.

I also don't like the fact that there is apparently no way to sort existing doff assignments by time remaining. That was default sort order, now it's sorted in order if when was assigned. Useless.

Also the Inpirational Leader trait is in the Elachi box so pubbies are popping tonnes of them for that as well. I'm expecting to pay around 150 for it but it might dip further if enough feds go chasing after the Acetons.

My initial impression is I don't mind the new crafting, it makes more sense than the old one and at face value works a lot similar to the rep system (except you have a chance to get ultra rares). It helps I am stacked with mats to start out with since I never threw out any crafting stuff.

But goddammit I hope they get rid of / move the THROW AWAY DIL button. I don't mind pay 2 speed up crafting, but don't make it feel like a scam. The first time I opened up I instinctively went to click the button thinking the project had complete and nope it was just the dil button. That it is the same spot as the complete button is just insulting.

The new uniforms are cool though. KDF stuff was so bad and lacking it's good to have some new pieces, and the new Odyssey wins points for having the over the shoulder strap from wrath of khan.

So I was looking at the new ship stats and saw the mirror bird of prey. That thing is hilarious, especially as it's meant to be a level 40 ship. 4 tac consoles, 2 ltc universal boffs. It's like a combination of the fleet hoh'sus and fleet norgh for way, way cheaper. If you want to get into KDF pvp ganking, get this ship now.

I regrettably didn't pick this up when I logged in and checked and it was only 800000 EC, last I checked before I logged it is closer to 3mil. Should I just buy now as the price will continue to go up or will it likely drop down some after the initial patch day rush?

There's been a slow inflation over the last year or two, you can't really expect lockbox/lobi ships to go below ~120ish now except for the ones Mondian mentioned. If they're actually good they'll tend to settle higher too; lobi ship prices tend to stay constant, but lockbox ships are really subject to the limited random supply and tend to rise over time once the initial promo is over since most people who use keys use them on the current new shiny thing.

The Aquatic ship is way inflated right now and it'll probably even rise for the next few days like the Nicor did, but crater in two or three weeks. Probably around 160-180m if you're patient, or lower if you get lucky.

Lagomorphic

When did Star Trek alien costumes make sense? If anything Cryptic's costumes are more practical than the series equivalents. Compare the funky jackets with the waistcoat fronts that Republic Romulans wear to the TNG padded shower curtains. I don't understand why they wear tight pants though.

Also I would love to try a Hegh'ta refit that's a bit sturdier than the other refit/fleet BoPs. Though I get the feeling that BoPs are really PvP ships and will never be competitive with escorts in PvE, even if you add some more HP to them.
