As a suggestion, dunno if it's possible with the engine, but it'd be nice if the person spawning an MBT could choose between which gun the gunner controls and which one the driver controls. I know there had been some talk of this but it was limited because of the MagRider's fixed forward main gun, but you could remove the option of choice from them and instead let them pick between different cannon options like having a PPA in the forward slot (old Mag Mower, hooooo!) and just put the main gun on the turret to give them a bit more of a fighting chance in tank battles, because as they stand now they're WAY too good at farming with their secondaries (because their secondaries are just better than everyone else's, overall) and they totally underperform with their main gun. Just swap the location of the two and who is shooting them, and give TR and NC tankers a choice between which gun they can let their gunner fire, and I think that one thing alone would normalize the MBT performance numbers across the board.

Which trees/props on auraxis have the most kills? What type of vehicle debris kills the most people? Which outfits talk the most in /yell chat? Can you make a heat map of trash talking? Are GOON and GOKU excelling at any unique stats only SOE could see? Things like this always make us happy.

Is there any chance we could get a Directive for 5 unique infantry auraxiums? "Well-Rounded Soldier" or something? I suppose the most logical reward would be a sidearm variant, but I'd be OK with just a title and an acknowledgment personally.

Those weapons have unique sounds that add a subtle flavor to whatever battle you happen to be in. Not like I'm going to be using any of these weapons anyway, every 3 months I seem to change playstyle so I never aurax anything.

In other words, replace the automatically-generated medals that the game shows you on the death screen with user-chosen medals and/or directives. I don't care about how I'm close to my silver medal with tank mines, but I care a lot about how close I am to Auraxing my Razor, AC-X11, and Baron.

I'd like to echo this sentiment. I've got about 10 infantry Auraxium medals across a variety of weapon classes and I really like changing up what class I play so I'd be nice to have some sort of directive for us.

I've been reporting it for ages with documentation and it seems like an easy thing to address. Like, by not making them render at all during cloak, because even without shadows having a rad antenna on my Flash makes it a lot more visible with that pole shimmering. Or the light-up cosmetics that also light up when cloaks. I want to look cool and still make nerds die efficiently, why can't I have both? ![]()

Using people I play with in videogames as inspiration for creating fun animated characters is pretty cool. I am liking the feel of coming up with what amounts to a Saturday morning cartoon show cast out of people from GOKU, which I can experiment with for various character design and animation things. The corvus can work just like any gun can work but unless your hunting the useless hordes of PHX its a drat useless gun because it lacks the punch to kill people before they duck behind cover. If it had a crazy damage drop off then its horrible RPM could be justified but as it is now there is absolutely no reason for it to be 167/526 when NC gets the reaper/tross and TR gets the sabr. The pulsar C works everyone will agree so why not make the corvus 167/577? Compare the corvus: http://stats.dasanfall.com/ps2/item/7152 Pulsar C: http://stats.dasanfall.com/ps2/item/7211 Reaper: http://stats.dasanfall.com/ps2/item/7108 The corvus and reaper are very close in DPM which is nice because the reaper is an excellently balanced gun but look at the DPS. DPM is practically the same so why does the reaper consistently kill people before they can retreat to cover while a full auto corvus doesn't? Bumping the corvus RoF up would make it on par with the reaper/pulsar C, its the lowest DPS automatic gun in the entire game well barring the lasher but thats a rage for another time. Is there a more in depth description of how the directives work? i have 4 LMG/carbine auraxes and quickly working on my LSW's medal but my 5th carbine is the NS11c do i need a faction specific carbine? I'm actually agreeing with Arghy a bit (Vanu help me) on the Corvus. It's not a bad gun, it's just really finicky and very unforgiving. Coming from someone who adores the Reaper and Pulsar C, it's just not as good. I still think it needs a bit of an RPM boost to bring it up to par, even if just to make it comparable to the Pulsar C.

The only thing I'm not sure about with directives is the kill class stat. As a LA? I kill tons of LA. Same with HA/Infil. As a Medic/Engineer though, I'm spending most of my night healing/rezzing/hiding in the back lines. I'm rarely upfront shooting people, and I barely ever get medic kills even on my assault orientated classes because good Medics/Engineers shouldn't be rushing straight into every fight in front of the pack. Even in teamfights, I'm usually standing behind the HAs shooting at the MAXes to try and chip their health away for everyone else. So unless these Directives are global ( ie killing Medics on my Infil counts towards the stat ), it seems like it'll unfairly punish the support classes.

Double exp + 50% experience booster is an amazing feeling. Those 1000 cert weapons actually seem affordable during all this. Nothing like getting a billion exp from slugging Higby in the face with my (Higby face decal-wearing) MAX. At those exact moments in time it's like he's doing everything in his power to make things perfect.
