I, too, wish that animation was considered a respectable medium outside of children's or teenagers' entertainment, but that doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with "kiddie tv". The kiddies need entertainment too; I'd argue that kids show in particular need quality, well-thought out and well-written content. Too many shows treat their audience like idiots, which doesn't challenge a developping mind like it needs to. Also, nobody older than 15 attaches "bro" to other words unironically. You are just damaging your position by expressing yourself this way.

I also dislike King of The Hill. Back to my other point, there's nothing necessarily wrong with aspects of Ben 10. The issue is that it follows the old formula of milking a product 'till it bleeds, and than milking it some more until you yank out a spin-off. Ps. Broimation is what it is, and is far superior to that AS stoner poo poo that condones zero budget cartoons and the unfortunate gross out seasons of ATHF.

Pretty much my favorite thing about the AT thread is the dude who posts his childrens' reactions to episodes. Almost invariably, any episode his kids love, the thread hates, and any episode his kids hate the thread spends 40 pages discussing.

Too many shows treat their audience like idiots, which doesn't challenge a developping mind like it needs to. Grownups can enjoy fantasy and new worlds and demons and aliens and even somewhat one-dimensional characters, and those are so much better serviced by cgi shows. Like tmnt's mutants are incredibly fun to watch, they move so much like animals or aliens or whatever they're supposed to be and it makes the fights so much more interesting to watch than person vs person in a suit. Even tfprime despite complaints had gorgeously arranged choreography using vehicle/robot physics. Meanwhile a lot of more "mature" shows still have monsters and fight scenes but are still limited by what you can make "look right" in a live action environment. I know it was the 90's and they were still enjoyable but I just finished the buffy and angel shows and the monsters and fight scenes got kind of tiresome after a while, it was only once in a while that they did something interesting with the fights.
