This isn't the place for a de-rail, but i don't disagree; however, what I and a lot of other vets have experienced with socialized healthcare has been a loving nightmare. I have problems with being tired all the time regardless of the amount of rest I get, and difficulty breathing after my last deployment. They have pushed back my appointments just to be seen for my initial consult for nearly a year.

You itch because of histamine. Histamine takes a lot of heat to denature. You're asking for at least 2nd degree burns if you do this with the intent of actually deactivating the trigger for the itching.
