WMOTYC: Reo Hazuki vs. Remei Asuka - Stardom, "Premium Stars", 7/10 On the one hand I feel like it's kind of cheap to nominate it: this is Asuka's first match and Hazuki's first match was like half a week earlier so they're both ultra-green. On the other hand it's a total trainwreck and Asuka has no business being anywhere near a ring at this point; also she has a dumb rear end-based gimmick.

HMOTYC: Archibald Peck, Scott Parker, Shane Matthews, Obaryon and Kodama vs. Ares, Tursas, Nokken, Oliver Grimsly and Qefka the Quiet - CHIKARA "Diamonds Are Forever", 6/21/14 It's technically two matches in that it's a six-man tag that was turned into a ten-man tag, but the whole thing was a ton of fun, had a great story and utilized Tursas really well.

Maybe I'm being too tough due to G1 season, but that was a really fun match that wasn't quite HM quality. I'd say the same for many of the G1 opening matches too, so it's not like I'm automatically saying that NJPW's always better either.

I thought Cena/Cesaro was kinda bad, especially considering the quality of the match they had before Elimination Chamber. Cena wrestled like he was in molasses. Rollins/Jericho was a much better match despite the non ending, but it still wasn't a HM. Especially when an amazing match like Naito/Styles is considered HM level

For your consideration: El Hechicero vs. El Cavernario, CMLL Super Viernes 20/06 There's one really nasty botched dive in there but I thought they played off it well enough that if anything it actually added to the match.
