So with Call of Duty on my mind I went back and played MW3 and Ghosts. Ugh, awful choices. Now I think I'll end up waiting Advanced Warfare out. I'll enjoy it from the sidelines reading the thread and watching weapon guides or something. Bored of both Call of Duties and Battlefields. Evolve can't come soon enough, and perhaps an interesting co-op game.

Depending on the range and weapon, that's pretty standard. For MW2, that was literally every weapon with Stopping Power, no matter the range. Or less.

Yea noticed that in the trailer as well, crosshair touched a loving guy and he melts.. So hardcore mode is now normal mode, then what the gently caress is the new hardcore mode? You die 0.4 seconds after spawn?

Another thing, I'd be really careful buying the PS4 version. Ghosts is a technical fuckup on PS4, framerate drops to 20s often because of some crazy frame skipping issue, scoping through those advanced digital scopes drops the FPS etc. Not a fluid experience at all, loving unbearable to be honest.

That's been my experience. I get framerate drops way too often on PS4. On Xbone, it has been much smoother. I'm hoping for a constant 60fps at 1080p, and I'm curious to see if that is achievable yet. (That I even have to wonder if we'll get 1080/60 games on this new hardware generation seem ludicrous.) And if it isn't achievable, I sure hope the games run at a near constant 60fps rather than deal with the awful sort of framerate drops I've had on PS4.

My biggest problem with this game is the TTK. It's the first COD in history to have an automatic weapon kill in 3 hits. Why can't they just use the MW2 TTK?
