https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/metalweavedesigns/the-baby-bestiary This is a cute idea (a calendar of baby fantasy monsters) and the samples look great, but a two sentence "Risks and Challenges" section doesn't actually fill me with confidence.

They lost my interest when they made PDFs add-on only, and that timeline they've got for making and distributing 2015 calendars cuts things awfully fine. The rest looks good, but you'd think after putting that much effort into outlining their needs and plans, they'd pad that Risks section out with a bit more fluff.

My team and I have launched the City Limits Kickstarter! We're pretty excited about it. It's the first setting book for our in-house game, which we've released as a free PDF. We're Kickstarting a pair of books, one supernatural espionage thriller and one urban horror. Today we're running a lot of events on the blog, including releasing some world fiction by a writer/personal hero of mine. I'm excited about that too! Also, does anyone in the thread know where I could look to get some minis done? I'd love to offer some minis, and our urban horror concept has the potential for some really interesting ones, but so far none of the companies I've emailed have responded. I meant to ask y'all how badly you think the ElfQuest Adventure game will be, but I backed it anyway an hour before it ended to have a future present for my sister (for whom Elfquest was a Big Deal back in middle school.) I wonder how much of a waste of money that was.

The kickstarter is over, but here is the art for the mini that I helped make! To be sculpted by Patrick Keith later. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/otlgames/the-miasma-war-endless-fantasy-tactics/posts

I know this got posted either here or the board game thread but whatever. I just backed One Zero One because I'm a sucker for neat themes that will drive people away before the game even hits the table.

I get a dubious 'ooo-kay' from my friends every time I bring a new game home, but I think that one's amusingly gimmicky (and cheap) enough to pledge on regardless.

I sent Germ a message, presumably he'll check in. I think he is planning on selling more. e. yeah you can buy stuff from his earlier kickstarter here and all the stuff in his current KS is showing as "coming soon" on that page, so clearly intended to be for sale once KS backer fulfillment is done. I'm pretty much over the moon about how the whole Kickstarter has gone. I was worried that a KS without crazy stretch goals and freebies wouldn't fly, and that my approach of "this is what I can reasonably deliver given the cost and time0frame, pledge if you like" wouldn't fly. I'm thrilled that it has! Things will absolutely be available afterwards. Initially for pre-order on Backerkit, and after that at my storefront on worldsmithindustries.com
