To anyone with a podcast - assuming the plan is for someone to win the Rumble and beat Brock at mania for the title, give me percent chances of who you think will be the one to do it. I think it is currently Roman - 75 Ambrose - 10 Bryan - 10 Others - 5

I'd put Bryan's chances higher, but this is fairly accurate. I'd also throw Batista in rather than being an other. His shoot background and being best buds with Trips means he might get the proper Mania moment he was promised last year. Plus we'd all want to see it.

Batista sucks as a face and probably the only way he'd be of any interest now is as a monster heel, and they aren't going to have a heel-heel main for Mania.

D-Bry is right, Shinsuke Nakamura probs is one of the best in the world. Whenever I get bored and put on NJPW, I go straight to his match, then turn it off because I know nobody before him will match it, and nobody can follow him.

Batista even said himself in a recent interview that he wants to comeback and face Hunter at Mania. While I like that match if we were also getting Sting/Taker and a Hogan/Cena match, 3 nostalgia matches would not be good even if I want to see all of them. Edit: I like Nakamura the most because he doesn't just do cool moves but he moves in a very unique way and has a style that is pretty different from everyone else. From the way he walks to how me punches and sells; I appreciate those kind of things, which is another reason I've loved Ambrose since he came into WWE. Daniel Bryan posted:So Daniel Bryan was being interviewed by Dave Meltzer and all Bryan wanted to talk about was New Japan and the G1. Meanwhile WWE PR is desperately trying to get Bryan away from Meltzer. That's hilarious. So is Bryan one of those guys that Meltzer mentioned as wanting to go on over to NJPW? It's not hard to see him wanting to go out on WWE on top (I think whatever they do, Bryan won't have a run as good as he originally did, particularly if he's getting roped into his wife's storylines).

I doubt Bryan wants to leave WWE immediately but I wouldn't be surprised if he'd like to have a run in New Japan before his career is over

I can't see a guy who was easily in the top 5 guys in the company wanting to leave. It's not like he's going to be Zack Ryder once his arm is healed. Yeah I know that he doesn't care about material things or pushes, but still the money he'd make from merch alone would let him and Brie live a nice life for a long time.

No, but right after the amazing run that peaks with Wrestlemania he's in a story that closely echoes a slasher movie. A WWE slasher movie. Also starring Kane. I don't think he wants to leave any time soon. But given his love for NJPW and Meltzer's comments earlier in the week about wrestlers he knows about in the WWE who have an eye on NJ, I wouldn't be surprised if you see him there within the next 5 years or so.

I don't think he's one of them that wants to leave, no. He's just a fan of new japan. Dave was probably referring to the likes of Tyson Kidd and maybe Cesaro or something. Bryan has found a spot in WWE I'm sure he's very comfortable with, and will be for years to come.

If he gets the sort of treatment he's had in the past two years for the next 3-5 years, he could be the best in the world. Right now, he's good as gently caress, there are just a lot of workers who are also good as gently caress in NJPW right now.

Wrestling is cool because you can have wide opinions on who you wanna see and like. I think Nakamura is lame and tries too hard and his antics actively throw me away from a match and there's at least 6 or so new japan guys I'd rather watch but everyone can enjoy their own thing.
