Its his version of the Crystalline event. If he can log in 14 days to tell us how much he hates us, he gets a tooth each day. Turn in 14 teeth to the event reputation tab and he completes the event. Sadly, the even was just copied over from the Crystalline event, so that 50k dil reward isn't for his event. Bright side, he gets a stash of all the party poppers!

Since you haven't figured it out yet, I'll try to explain. You've managed to piss off enough people that you're probably not getting into the channel/fleet. I'm certainly not inviting you, but dental's kind of half way between anarchy/brutal dictatorship, so I can't speak for anyone else.

You can either write off your :10bux: as a learning experience, or you can go explore the forums and try to fit in. Right now your only posts are in this thread, and in your introductory thread which you only created because people in this thread told you to (a thread which is against the rules). If you can completely leave this thread for several months, and actually fit in and contribute to other parts of the forums, there's a chance that when you do come back you won't be immediately run off (because we tend to have the memory and attention span of a goldfish).

SA isn't the powerhouse that it was ten years ago, but we do have a culture (such as it is) and take a very dim view of people who sign up solely for the fringe benefits of membership. Once upon a time, the legends say, we had file forums filled with music, movies and porn. Now, nobody new ever asks 'where da movies at?'

We still have active groups in a number of MMOs, but like SA-Mart, most of them don't want you if you haven't been around at least several months and making yourself a part of the forums community, because scammers and spies happen. Simply stated, SA guilds and fleets are for SA Goons. If you aren't active on the forums, then you're clearly not a Goon. Your ten bucks only goes so far.

To my fellow STO devs. Fix the loving level 9 mission in KDF assignment chain. How the hell are new players supposed to get hooked on this terrible game if they can't finish the mission?

Oh and nice job on getting the assignments to complete. 3rd try really worked!

The j4g rule makes a lot more sense if you're playing eve. It makes almost no practical sense for STO, where not only do we share invites to fleet holdings, we occasionally give invites to pubbies to buy ships. While you may not get in right away, I don't think being a j4g really merits the :goonsay: reaction anymore.

There are lots of pubbies on STO that hate us and have attempted to join Dental/the channel from spending 10bux on this forum. While this is definitely what I'd call a slow period for Dental/Nop antics, we still have a few things going on that we'd rather not broadcast beyond Dental/Nop.

Either Beta Ursae or the neutral zone sector block. (Eta Eridani? I totally am blanking on this one.)

Tau Dewa is probably the best for Marauding, though unless you're klankrom it's a ways away from a starbase.

This is what I do on my Marauding alts.

Quo'nos -> Eta Eridani (use your slipstream here) -> Oreillus -> Beta Ursa -> Zeta Andromeda

That should fill you up. When you hit level 3 Marauder you can then take Beta Ursa to Sirius -> Regulus -> Quo'nos. Next time you log in just work you way back and fill up as you go. Don't forget to check your First Officer in each sector for more Marauding missions.

A: Starship Mastery passive powers are unlocked on a per-ship basis. Since they represent a captain and crew’s affinity with the ship they must be unlocked for each ship you own.

What I really want to know is how to upgrade retrofit\fleet ships and if they'll even still be viable because 99% of Cryptic's original designs are ugly as sin.

Like, ever notice how in the shows, Starfleet ships tend to have a lot of smooth curves? And how Cryptic's ships are often blocky and have a lot of random poo poo poking out? They also tend to have a bunch of random holes and hard edges going off in random directions.

I mean just look at this thing:

The launch-era artists are no longer with Cryptic I'm pretty sure (or at least working on something else...), and the new folks doing ships are way, way better. I mean compare those to the Assault Cruiser and Patrol Escort Refits, which came out much later:

... But yeah the old variants are horrible. :v:
