I wonder how Soviet-era things are seen in modern Russia? Like, is putting CCCP on your truck like painting a confederate flag on your car in the USA?

When I was in Israel a couple of years ago, I saw the stars and bars in an apartment window in Tel Aviv. Probably the last place I expected to see it.

Putting CCCP on your car is trumpeting that you're either an ignorant toolbag or an old codger pining for the good old days. Select which based on age.

So, exactly like a confederate flag, but without the racism.

I have a sweatshirt with CCCP emblazoned (proudly?) across the chest. I have no idea where I got it from, but I usually don't wear it in public.

In my search for a new Keith Moon avatar I found this:

Story is some local teenagers were oogling over it so Keith threw them the keys and let them take it for a spin. After a few hours when they didn't come back he went looking for them and found it in a ditch :v:

Not only that but he was the probably the greatest rock drummer that ever lived.

If you are a rock fan and have never listened to Live at Leeds you're doing yourself a huge disservice.

Seriously, that little truck thing looks awesome.

I could see all kinds of uses for them on farms and ranches here. Especially if it had a little utility bed.

poo poo, it'd probably be a great utility ATV if it was 4x4.
