I dunno, man. Seven Marie scenes sounds excessive and repetitive, and they're going to treat it like Yu's been loving her all along. That new Adachi scene though...

The 4chan guy that has been ripping the P4U2 assets just said 2chan leaked Persona 4 Golden on PS3 being announced tonight. E: Nothing on 2ch from what I see but i have limited web access, there are at least 30 boards dedicated to games, and my phone is nearly dead. Of course last time Persona 3 Platinum was supposed to be a thing and we got anime. Dehry fucked around with this message at 00:34 on Sep 1, 2014 |

That sounds like a pretty dumb thing to do nearly a year into the PS4's lifespan (well, more like half a year for Japan but still).

I heard rumblings they were going to port it to PS4, and it would be announced at TGS. But that particular announcement list also said Shenmue III would be announced there so it's probably complete BS

Some game journalist from some European gaming site was dancing around the fact that Yu Suzuki might have pretty much confirmed Shenmue 3 in some exclusive meeting, so maybe there is a little tiny sliver of hope.

I could see a P4 port for the PS3 if only to let them double dip on the work of bringing all the demons into HD that they have to do for Persona 5.

the best direction for gaming to go at this point is backwards, toward the fun end of gaming history, as far away from modern gaming convention as possible. finish stories, worldbuilding sequels, remake old classics with new shine, and crossovers, stuff like that. it seems to be going that way across the board

They should triple dip and put P3P on PS3. Or Vita, whatever, just add trophies and make it look a little nicer and I will buy it again.

Put FES on the Vita, put P3P on the PS3, don't change anything about either version.

Moltrey posted:So hey, I'll probably play Nocturne soon so tell me about Nocturne. Always have a demon on hand with Fog Breath or Sukunda and Sukukaja skills. Accuracy buffs and debuffs will get you through some of the hardest fights. Always have Dekunda and Dekaja, too. The Pass command consumes only half a turn by taking no action, and it can be useful to increase your damage potential by setting up combos (i.e. Focus skill and then a physical move in the same turn). Some demons can 'evolve' once they've learned all their skills and your level is high enough.

I've found evolved demons to be somewhat better than their unevolved counterparts. They get a stat boost when the evolve, and the keep their old skills which is useful because the demons generally evolve along the same element lines. Also, with two sizable exceptions you'll only need 5-10 levels to evolve a demon, so it's not that much of a hurdle.

I liked it in Raidou because the demon would bug out, but then in another encounter they'd say "hey I did my thing, thanks for waiting!" SO AND SO HAS BECOME YOUR DEMON. But that's the only time I liked it, gently caress demon negotiation.

Aha, you are correct, but if you take it as a rule to hold on to your demons until they evolve, you're gonna being holding onto Lilim for loving ever. And I think there are similar examples, though none quite so cruel.
