"R. Shrift" has the most authentic and beautiful Australian accent I've ever heard.

Edit: when someone temporarily breaks their ridiculous character/accent for a couple words it's such a dumb, cheap, automatic laugh for me. I love it.

If you love all things Hot Saucerman, definitely download April Richardson's podcast "Go Bayside" from Aug 5. We learn all about Scotty Aux's dark childhood, and oh yeah they talk about some stupid episode of Saved By the Bell.

The best part is Scott immediately calling them out on it.

That was an excellent ep, I actually had to stop it when they started singing the Australian nation anthem because I was laughing so much.

They talked on the latest Wolf Den about how Kroll was originally asked back in 08/09 to be the first non-CBB Earwolf podcast but he thought he wouldn't have any time to do so.

What a career move disaster!!!!

I wouldn't be so sure, by the end of the last run it sounded like the Scotts were pretty happy to do at least one episode for every U2 release until they or the band die. And it sounds like U2 are going to be releasing more in the near future.

As an Australian, the latest EP was just wonderful. Also, I listened to the latest U2 album and I didn't hate Bono's voice the way I normally do. That's probably Adam Scott Ackerman's fault.

I've been very slowly making my way through these recommendations (from March 8th - so it'll be a while till I get to the I4H recs a few pages back!) Just finished ep 59 (the second-to-last one listed) and would definitely recommend it to any of you non-super-fans. That's the funniest Andy Daly has ever been to me. Less for the character, more for the witty banter. PFT As Himself is also good stuff.

Oh, I thought you were doing an elaborate setup with the Walter White punchline. It's unfortunate that a comedy bit falling flat annoys or angers you as opposed to just being something that you dismiss as not your thing.
My issue is that they waste my time by going on so long. It's not like one single joke you might dislike and they move on before it even registers. It's "find the fast forward button" comedy. :smith:

It's really rude of them to waste valuable podcast time on silliness. Think of the poignant yet ever so slightly humorous anecdote This American Life could have used that podcast time to tell. People worked hard in the podcast mines to bring them that podcast time. So inconsiderate.
