Those are off an '07-'14 Chev 3/4 or 1ton. Presumably axle and IFS setup too because I'm pretty sure they switched bolt patterns for that generation (or somewhere in the middle of it).

Holy poo poo that 301 would look amazing on my Maxima. I'd be a real rear end in a top hat to blow that much money on wheels for a boatsedan, but my god it would be perfect.

If only hellaflush PT cruisers would become popular we could see the stock depleted within a few years, as long as they're no longer making oil pans for them.

I don't have any investment in the PT either way, having never been exposed to one, but I just have to wonder how many of you would call it "one of the worst cars ever made" if you'd ever owned an eighties Lancia. I've owned an eighties Lancia.

Fake edit: I talked to my coworker literally today about stuffing a 2JZ into an A-body, and what shows up on speedhunters today?

5.2 liters and "flat plane" don't go together well in my head. They'd need like 70 pounds of balance shafts on each side.

That being said, I love the sounds of a flat plane.

If ford gets an 4500lb aluminum raptor, flat plane v8 gt350, and 350hp awd focus RS out in the same year, it's all over, everybody else can just pack it up and go home.

yeah, it looked completely bone stock, apart from being a little bit lower. That car could break some hearts on the street.

I've had several friends, all car guys, who should know better, say something along the lines of "Ya, the C7 is beautiful, but I can't wait for the mid-engined C8!" It makes me want to punch them.

Yeah, that's not a flat-plane noise; it sounds pretty much like any other high-revving cross-plane V8 (like the outgoing M3, for one).

This is a flat-plane noise:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlmUfxlJjXw

There really isn't any way you can make a cross-plane engine sound like that. Once again, it's the retards at the car magazines trying to come up with stupid poo poo to sell their rag and nothing more.
