Been following the thread with great interest, just picked this gem up in the latest Private Eye... Very topical, given tomorrow is the Big Day. It goes without saying what way I'm voting, but the hilarity and ineptitude from both sides had been an excellent source of mirth for months now!

I know it isn't political cartoonists' jobs to make the case for Scotland staying in the Union or anything, but you could pretty much take every cartoon mocking the Scottish and their desire for independence as an argument for why Scotland should leave. The casual insult in the Express one alone screams "Independence? The freeloading bastards should be grateful!"

If everyone insulted by a cartoon in the Express left the UK, the population of the UK would be Paul Thomas, and maybe a corgi.

There's been plans to scrap the Barnett formula in the event of a no vote, under the usual benefit scrounger panic. It's gotten worse with the vague promises of further devolution. It's most likely that.

There have been a couple of obvious bribes made by the Tories - like shutting down the Portsmouth dockyards and sending the work to the Clyde, and people are understandably upset about that.

This seems pretty loving stupid when turnout was widely predicted to be (and ended up being) over 85%. It's a lovely MAYHEM AND VIOLENCE cartoon - the narrative is that the referendum has been full of violence and intimidation. I guess you could either read it as Scots are too busy fighting to actually vote, or that some Scots are so busy fighting that they prevent everyone else from voting, either way it's trying to paint an impressive show of democracy as a grubby failure e- hell I'm looking at it on my phone and you might be right, on closer inspection it does just look discarded. Somehow that's even worse, at least the mob violence thing has been fuelling tabloid front pages for the last few days baka kaba fucked around with this message at 07:56 on Sep 19, 2014 |

Charles occupies an orbital state, where his precise location can only be expressed as a probability distribution over an area. That's why he appears to vibrate, and also why he can communicate with plants.
