Both of them had inside info of the Apocalypse, but in Katie's case, she actually did warn everyone, repeatedly, before loving off to the bunker. Also Pasqulo now! Fight the PTSD!

It is kind of refreshing that they're all in the presence of someone who literally ended the world with a thought and not only are they not cowering in terror, not only are they trying desperately to avoid upsetting her in case she does something uncalled-for, they're actively giving her poo poo for it. They are not scared of her in the slightest.
