Gametrailers review of the Masterchief Collection is making me wish I could buy this on any platform but Xbox One. This looks like a really great collection. I love Halo, minus Halo 4, and the collection's only real fault is that it's missing Reach.Rageaholic Monkey posted:

It's going to be so fragmented. I think Microsoft expected the Xbone to be a run away success by now, but it's not even close to being a success. MCC will probably be on PC next year to make up for this.

Really though I'm not sure what the big deal is about a handful of consoles being sold at 20% off from an online retailer that ran out of the coupon code savings after like 2 hours.

The best part about the PS4's abysmal lineup of lovely games is its no hurdle at all to tremendous sales. All anyone cared about at lauch was not buying the system that was a VCR which wouldnt play used games or watch you sleep. All anyone cares about now is buying the system that their friends have. MS would be doing perfectly fine (not to be confused with Selling Fine™) today with their 32mb esram powerhouse had they just not tried to get away from traditional console gaming right at the outset and waited a single year to start talking about all things always-on, the end of ownership and The Price Is Right. That's all it would have took. Thanks Yususf.

Right now they're fighting to claw back the U.S., and they might actually be the leaders for the month of November if current sales trends continue, but that'll be a temporary bump at best.
