I was kind of thinking they'd miss the playoffs this season with Foles regressing a bit, the early-season first half woes, and thinking that they couldn't keep up their non-offensive scoring. Then, since his NCAA show-cause would be up, he'd take some cushy college coaching job.

I take it all back Chip stay in the NFL, the league is more entertaining with you in it.

Even if they're failures like Trestman, I'd rather have zany guys like him and Kelly be head coaches than retreads like Lovie.

Uh, no. Jeffersonlives clearly explained to us that almost all young QBs go through similar systems as they learn the speed of the game. Additionally, have you seen this chart comparing Mark Sanchez's early numbers to that of John Elway?

JO was great but man he could wear green tinted glasses when it came to early Sanchez.
I've been there. I used to keep track of Sanchez' numbers as they compared to early career Eli. That's sad. That's not even a high bar to reach.

No one hates the Jets more than JO now though. He's pretty jaded and only talks baseball and Gilmore Girls on Twitter.

I think you'll find based on last night's game that he is in fact not a moron and maybe the Jets' coaching is bad?

When you guys figure out division overall records, remember to subtract divisional games since every division plays .500 against itself.

To illustrate this, the NFC South goes from 11-25-1 (.311) to 5-19-1 (.220) when you subtract the divisional games.

The performance that Panthers' o-line put on last night was shades of 2012 Chargers awful.

Has Amini Siloatu always been that awful? That play where he got destroyed by Connor Barwin for an easy sack of Newton is one of the worst plays i've ever seen a guard involved in.
