S3 has been pretty great and shockingly consistent compared to the first two seasons, which ranged from fitfully funny to absolute garbage. Trimming the godawful theme song to 3 seconds is a huge plus as well. I haven't seen Mindy Project but I doubt the ADR is as bad as Top Chef. Padma Lakshmi must record over half her lines.

I started watching Jericho (like 5 episodes in), the premise and main plot parts are good but there's an annoying amount of soap opera stuff that seems pointless and utterly forgettable (worst offenders are ~awkward teenage romance~ and the beard dude/bar girl/doctor love triangle), does that get toned down or at least in some way tied into something relevant to the rest as the series goes on?

In awesome TV news, Netflix has resurrected Longmire for a fourth season. I love that low-ratings/high-quality shows can be so much easier saved nowadays with so many different distributors looking for good & recognizable poo poo to air.

Oh my god yes. The network stopped meddling right around where you are and the show starts throwing a lot darker and caring way less about stupid interpersonal drama bullshit. It's about to get real good. There is a reason people sent CBS a literal ton of peanuts lobbying for a season 2 and it ain't family drama.

Glee will run out the clock on Fridays from January to March. This should surprise absolutely no one, and it's far better than what the show's ratings deserve. At least the remaining fanbase can get the conclusion they've been waiting fo-ahhahahah jk expect misery porn set to contemporary pop until the final second ticks down to Murphy himself wearing a Finn mask and singing a dubstep version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

This season of American Horror Story has not only been a return to form but it's a better Glee than Glee is, considering that every episode of this season has had a gleefully anachronistic musical number (the show is set in Juptier, FL in 1952 but they're been singing Bowie, Nirvana, and Fiona Apple) with no autotune or iTunes sales figures in sight.

They literally had their already slashed budget double slashed and it was this or no episode at all I guess. The dudes in charge of the show were all 'yea I guess we'll try to make this not suck' and it's kinda sad. Nick is just throwing them against the wall until they die.

The Will Forte show The Last Man on Earth which we all think will fail miserably not because it doesn't look awesome because it does but because of the idiocy of the American audience will air beginning March 1.

I didn't realize the show was meant to be last man as in species, and not gender. It's going to be interesting to see how they pull off a comedy with only one actor in it.

Because the decision to pull the show was made after the decision to slash the budget, this isn't hard.
