Speaking of Google Keyboard, how the hell do you get it to stop autocompleting emojoiis in place of actual words?

Just decided to test out my soundcloud app and it's bugging out hard, can't play 90% of the tunes i'm trying to listen to for some reason - i get this unable to playback track message, it automatically skips to the next track, rinse and repeat. I managed to somehow pause a track right before i got the message and skipped past the 0:00 mark and track plays just fine, anyone else had any similar issues with it? edit: Reinstalling it fixed it, weird bug i guess. uaciaut fucked around with this message at 20:33 on Dec 11, 2014 |

http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...re-integration/ Looks like Google just went after Amazon due to Amazon packaging their App Store in the main Amazon.com app. If you search for the main Amazon app in the store, you won't find it but you will find "Amazon Shopping". If you download that, it's the exact same app as the original "Amazon" but it won't have the appstore. Amazon's official statement doesn't really fit with what's happening either. quote:Amazon's supposed statement to the aforementioned blog says this is in response to a policy change in September, but that doesn't seem connected. That's when Google started requiring addresses for paid apps and those with IAPs. Amazon doesn't have either, and has a business address anyway. The only difference between the two apps appears to be the Appstore. We're still looking into this.

If I'm using google voice and hangouts for messaging, is there a way to stop the email notifications so I stop getting double notifications on every message recieved?

Looks like Action Launcher 3 should be going live in the next few hours. Turns out, I won't be installing it, despite what I said before, because 1-Swipe and the QuickPage have been cut out (and probably won't return) due to changes made in Lollipop. If those features break when my Turbo gets its eventual update to 5.0, I'll switch then, but I'll just stay on AL 2. Edit: looks like it's live https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionlauncher.playstore So, it's just a better looking version that does less. Pass (for now). So I guess the "totally unique headliner feature" is Quicktheme? Seems like a lot of effort for questionable return. I'm glad Covers and Shutters are still in there, but what I really want Action Launcher to have is drawer groups.

Quicktheme is neat if you use something like muzei but otherwise meh. It's buggy though. Getting all kinds of launcher crashes when I try use the shutter on anything in the dock.

Drawer groups would certainly be nice. But being able to slide out a page with a widget for Google Music and one for BeyondPod, along with a few apps/shortcuts I use a lot, was 90% of why I like AL. Besides being quickly turn on music from within another app, it let me have a single page homescreen with zero clutter. I know I could replicate this with something like SwipePad, but I'd prefer it to be baked into an app I'm already using.

Any idea of SwipePad works on Lollipop? 1-Swipe wasn't working for me after the upgrade.

I hope that after a few updates this stops being such an ugly, buggy mess. Also, I can get over the loss of QuickDrawer, but I'm not switching until changing icons is supported. That's just basic stuff.

This happens with many app rewrites. He will eventually work the features back into it.

Is the Plex app worth shelling out $5 for to sync my music and movies between my computer and my phone? This is the one thing that I haven't dealt with yet after swapping from an iPhone, and I'm tired of not having anything to listen to on the T. Fakeedit: Does the subscription service to Plex provide free access to the app?

I got it a few months ago but I didn't realize I needed to keep my PC on to access my files too.

The prediction bar for some reason does have dividers, and a different font, and just completely clashes with everything else. The holo one is way nicer looking. Huh. I really like the lack of dividers, and the prediction bar font looks exactly the same as the keyboard font. If there's a difference, I'm not seeing it: Also I thought flatness was supposed to be part of the whole material design thing but maybe I'm wrong?
