Waxwings are awesome looking birds, pretty sure this one's a cedar waxwing. We got a huge flock of them in our backyard once when I was a kid zipping back and forth between trees, absolutely gorging themselves on holly berries.

They're gorgeous. We see the occasional waxwing here, too, but they tend to eat fermenting berries off the neighbor's tree and fly into our front windows. Buzzed flying is drunk flying! We buried one of those unfortunate cedar waxwings once; it was shocking how beautiful it was up close. Then the squirrels get into the act: But I love birds and despise squirrels, and the squirrels never seem to fling themselves headlong at our house. At least...not without help.

# ? Dec 16, 2014 17:53 |
That is funny as gently caress but that squirrel must have been in absolute terror not being able to get away from what it sees as a monstrous predator 3 feet away.

Isn't pulling a gun toward you like this more likely to get your brains blown out than actually remove it from the assailant's hand?

The first push up he does would trigger the gun the fire more than any of his other poo poo. After that it is more about getting it to land away from your face, as he pushes it away then doing crazy poo poo on the ground to gain the advantage.
