But yeah dude, we used to have this. But SIPR and JWICS means real names unless you have a NOC in your professional capacities and I assure you very few people did or do. Now pause here, hit rewind. Now we hit play. Would you ever want goons knowing your real name and having direct access to your chain of command without your knowledge? Thus the failure of SIPR D&D and GiP. Yeah, I remember the SIPR mailing list that Grover maintained, but I think I only used it once or twice. I still think it might work if we stuck to the current events discussions and left most of the GiP bro/real talk stuff in the forums. It would be nice since we as a group have a pretty broad knowledge base and finding information outside of your wheelhouse is tough if you don't know where to look on the high side. JWCS is probably has better tools to facilitate something like that but gently caress if I know at this point since I've been stationed at backwaters for the last few years without access. Also, I think that would severely limit the audience. You might be able to do it with some of the blogging stuff on SIPR intellink, but then it's publicly readable. Eh just some thoughts. Maybe I'm being too optimistic.
