granted it is basically just SDA that does this albeit for totally valid reasons but whether the wider community of a particular game cares about your runs being done on emulator varies by the community and usually how well the game emulates. for instance I know the silent hill speedrunning community broadly doesn't give a flying poo poo if your runs are done on emulator because it doesn't matter but the resident evil community had to break emulated runs off into their own category due to how faster load times on an emu interacted with the in-game timer. I don't see most SNES game communities minding much if your runs are done on Bsnes and if you're asking because you want to submit to SDA then I kinda just recommend not, it's a bit poop.

Tuned in just in time for an Andy LttP run. Andy was probably my first person to watch on twitch (other than teamsp00ky). I was able to subscribe to him just recently and have not looked back. I think LttP is one of the best Zelda games out there because it reminds me so much of my childhood. Ever so often I would donate to Andy because of the quality he puts into the run. I normally don;t like Zelda runs (Any% or 100%) but for some reason Andy is the exception; not to mention he is a pretty cool dude and a really funny guy. I plan of going to SGDQ this year and hopefully get to meet him (if he attends). Just watching this run makes me want to get oiut my SNES and play LttP (which I still have). I know when I donate it's for a great cause but also it let's everyone know I support Andy and the LttP speedrun community.

It's any%, it doesn't have any wrong warp like OoT that lets you beat it in 18 minutes.

But oob stuff is very rarely entertaining for me anyway, the biggest exceptions I can think of right now are the halo / halo 2 runs from 2014 which were great and had lots of oob.
