Hypocrisy posted:Hey whaddya know, Grandpa cares about Isabel. You sure about that? Giving her a tool in the first place was not a compliment in Grandpa's eyes, and giving her one to replace the one she lost follows along the lines of "you're still not good enough to fight on your own, it seems." I'm curious if Zarei's going to confront Isabel on the next page now that she's out of Francisco's sight or if she'll bring it up later.

I dunno, I got the impression that she was "supposed" to say no to the offer in his eyes. His "hmph" kinda gave off a dismissive, "you're still weak" vibe.

We're going to get a heart wrenching look at how not all spirits get along with their Spectral, and Isabel is going to learn that what she had with Eightfold was a special bond that she might never have again.

How do ghosts perform spectral attacks? Spectrals generate spectral energy so it's no big deal for tools to feed off them or use it to shoot at people or what have you, but ghosts are made of spectral energy and don't regenerate without the help of a spectral or possibly without eating other ghosts/spirits. Surely shooting spec-shots and the like would drain them?

Does the apparent disrespect for spirits exhibited by Francisco and the Consortium extend to ghosts? You'd think literally being able to interact with the dead would be a big deal, perhaps bigger than anything else the Spectrals do, but the school was just chock full of ghosts and attempts to keep them from getting soul-sucked to oblivion were pretty haphazard.
