Oh come on. Triangular construction in art design dates back centuries, but that Straight Story poster one is complete coocoo.

I don't point out the square serving trays my underlings serve me rats on to feed my reptilian appetite and say "wait, subtract one corner from this and put a rat eye on another (I do this sometimes cause I like to save them for last), by the secret underground kingdom it's an illuminati eye!!"

The circle you used to highlight this is less obvious than the thing it's highlighting.

Also, it's actually less obtrusive than putting critics quotes everywhere so it ain't so bad, though equally as useless.

Mitchell is so bad. So bad. Mitchell himself is introduced sleeping in the back of a car, a state of being the viewer must fight against for the rest of the runtime.

I really wish there was a movie where the Illuminati turn out to be the good guys trying to save the world from destruction and the baddies are the nutjobs trying to unearth them. The closest we got to that is Men in Black I guess.

That's pretty much real life. The Bavarian Illuminati, as it existed, were largely free-thinking republicans (as in supporters of the idea of representative government) looking to overthrown both the Church and the Monarchy, who were pretty much the same entity in Europe, in favor of an "enlightened" government, i.e. representative democracy. The whole trope about the Illuminati trying to overthrow the government with the goal to rule the world came from the Catholic Church.

A team of Arctic geologists stumble across an abandoned laboratory in which the Nazis developed an incredible and brutal secret weapon during the final months of WW2. Deep in the ice, they accidentally awake a deadly army of flying zombie sharks ridden by genetically mutated, undead super-humans, who are unleashed into the skies, wreaking their bloodthirsty revenge on any aircraft that takes to the air. An elite task force is assembled to take on this deadly threat and stop the Sky Sharks from conquering the air, but as time runs out, the task force realises they will have to fight fire with fire, and the stage is set for the greatest flying super-mutant zombie shark air battle the world has ever seen....

That's true, but there's still passion in those movies. I don't care to watch a movie that is bad on purpose, unless it's badly done really well. I'd rather watch someone trying and failing.

Judging by the number of people who saw God's Not Dead in theaters just to make fun of it on the internet I like to think that Christian movie boom is at least partially the newest incarnation of this.
