Red beans can be used to make some incredible dishes and are underrated. Whenever people try red bean or taro mocchi it blows their minds because it's like they only see red beans in savory dishes.

Take a bit of bay leaf (like one don't overdo it) and toss it in when you're cooking your rice however you do it. Add a pinch of saffron if you have any to spare (it's expensive so skip it if you need)) and *plump chef from Rune Factory 4 smacks lips* delicioso
