With LtSmash's permission, I created an experimental ASIS patch that slightly alters how ASIS does Increased/Random spawns, with the purpose of being able to use Apocalypse's Evil Twin and Thunderchild's Splinter Twins. It's available on my Improved ASIS INIs page. Here's the readme if you're interested.

So my default preset skins seem to be seriously hosed. Everything, the make up, different complexions etc looked all stretched out and the scars are glowing red. I have tried re installing Skyrim 4 times, made sure it's vanilla with Mod Organizer and I get the same results. This is with just the Alt Start and Race menu mods. If I try to use another skin mod, the default one doesn't go away and it looks 'layered' underneath.

I'm seriously stumped, what is going on and how on earth do I fix it? - http://imgur.com/a/aqa65

I started noticing strange lag problems wasn't sure if it was something related to SkyRealism or Unbound, as it happened after trying this mods. I checked my save and there are no loose scripts, TES5Edited anything LOOT recommended, and turned on Papyrus logging. Seems like Unbound and SkyBirds have some bad scripts causing problems.

For the sake of preserving tables, here is my papyrus log in pastebin. http://pastebin.com/uVXefr5V

Modding skyrim is a strange beast. Prior to trying ENBs and heavily scripted mods I had no FPS problems, CTDs, or save corruptions (using RCRN, ELFX, WATER, some other small mods, and uGrids at 7) but now I am getting strange things and the game runs like crap. I assumed it was Unique Grass and Flora Overhaul, yet things randomly go slow and sounds start desyncing. Going from being able to run 200+ FPS to hovering around 30 is pretty annoying too.

Question...
Alternate start live another life - Hearthfire support says "Adds support to enable moving your spouse and children into shoal's rest farm house."
Currently, there is a couple living there. I've talked to all the npcs in the area and can't seem to figure out how to get control of the house.
Anybody know what I need to do?

I Failed At Anime 2022
So I spent a bunch of time yesterday trying to figure out what was causing problems with showracemenu in my game because I didn't like my dude's haircolor and it was bugging me I couldn't change it. Whatever it is, is apparently locked in on my save because I even went back to the configuration of almost nothing enabled to try and narrow it down and it still wasn't working. I had no issue loading the menu or using sliders or anything, I just couldn't hit X (controller) or R (keyboard) and get to the name dialogue to finish and exit. Just now I gave it one more shot after installing RaceMenu thinking maybe a race menu overhaul would like, overwrite whatever was causing the problem (it didn't) and tried controller first, then keyboard -- still didn't work. Then I rolled my cursor over the "Done" option and clicked on it and LO AND BEHOLD IT loving WORKED. So something is just disabling the assigned button for "done" while in the race menu but not actually stopping me from finishing and getting out if I bypass the button with the cursor. :wtc:

Use Mfg Console to track down what mod it's on and the filepath the game is using for it's mesh. That'll allow you to find out if it's just missing or if it's being overwritten. If you are using mod organizer it'll tell you what's overwriting it(the physical mesh), if it's there and not being overwritten check out conflicts in TESVEDIT to see if another mod further down the load order is telling it to look for a different mesh. If it's not there at all, check the mod readme to make sure you installed it properly and that everything is properly enabled.

The black recolor of the Apotheus Light Armor (an armor in Immersive Armors V7, and available as a standalone mod as well) on the :nexus: is rather crude and obscures most of the detail of the original armor. Would anyone be willing to do a version of the skin with black leather and dark gray fabric that keeps the details of the original skin? I'd try it myself but Ulead PhotoImpact X3 doesn't work in Windows 7 and I'm still working on getting a new graphics editor.

E: I disabled (not uninstalled) SkyBirds and made a save without it, and this new save was 6 MB smaller (bringing it down to 19.1 MB). However, this save made Familiar Faces say there was an error with its EFF compatibility module. Even though the uninstallation instructions for SkyBirds are just "disable it", I'm not sure it would be wise to continue with that save with it disabled, should I just turn it back on and continue with my backup save?

There was a mod I heard or read, and it might have been on the first page, that made priest masks that were more or less geared to mages no armor as to not ruin the mage armor perks. I can't seem to track it back down though.

EDIT: Is playing on Adept the smartest choice for actual balance?

Holy crap, I've gone international! I just wish auto-translate worked a little better so I could get some of the jokes. The screenshots are great, though.

I put out an update for that mod yesterday, and I was worried nobody would notice, because it had been so long. At least Japan noticed!

I'm not sure how that one pair of underpants ended up so huge. I need to remember to scale that down a notch for the next version. Or maybe I should just leave it, and we can assume a big fat person lives there.

Thanks for the link... I don't usually check that site, and this really made my day.

That is quite helpful, thanks. I guess he put the giant panties in there as a joke, so I don't need to worry that I hosed up the scaling somewhere.

"Rift and reach" would be Riften and Markarth, which I just covered in the new version.

It's not 100% accurate... I actually did go through and add underwear to some areas I'd covered before, but generally in pretty secluded spots so I could pretend the people of Skyrim had SOME sense of decency.

And it's true by the way, I really did get a lot of requests for panties. I don't think anybody requested long johns or big ol' granny bloomers but they got 'em anyway. I was super tempted to add a bunch of huge boxer shorts with hearts all over them like Loony Toons, but I decided against it.

Someone on the Nexus thread suggested loading ELFX last on the left side of the MO because some meshes were being overwritten, this worked for me. The alternate start lighting looks like it's just a conflict to only just that area. I haven't noticed flickering lights in other areas after moving ELFX to the bottom (on the left side!).

It's been quite awhile so I don't remember all that well, but I think there was a way to at least copy all the stuff under one tab within each perk entry, so I could create a new perk entry, paste like 10 records or whatever, edit what I needed, then hit ok.
