A servant attached to the Ghulam doctor might not be bad, either

That was my first thought! But it turns out that G: Servant is not compatible with Link Teams. Also, no hacker.

Oh, neat. Learn something every time I post today. Out of curiosity, where does that rule show up? I thought the requirement came with being a remote. I didn't see anything in G: Servant that negated it on the wiki.

It looks good! Already a bit more readable than the other one posted on the main forums. Someone did edit his though to grid pattern it all out, might be worth doing. I much prefer your way of organizing the weapons though.

Sure enough, it showed up less than a week later. I never would have noticed anything wrong but he emailed me to apologize anyway.

The store I work at ran out of our allotment of Masterclass preorders in under 3 hours. e: This is impressive if only because no other system, be it MtG, miniatures or other has had such a fervour of calls. Only thing that came close was the End Times: Khaine hardcover. Clawtopsy fucked around with this message at 04:45 on Jan 27, 2015 |

My Magister Knight killed a guy tonight. In CC. And it was a legitimately good play rather than a gimmick attempt. At the same time, on the adjacent table, a Veteran Kazak was buried under Myrmidons; he burned one to death, but was buried by close combat strikes. I love this game. Oh, and our Terrain Wizard brought a whole set of modular terrain based on Venice. It is goddamned loving amazing - pics after I'm settled in and can pull them off of my phone. e: He forgot the water-mat, so we wound up playing the "canals" as empty ground. Incredibly interesting board to play - lots of connections and routes, but the canals also made for barriers to movement that left some serious fire lanes. Climbing was common tonight. It's also worth noting that the Spitfire and Shotgun range bracket changes both played a large part in my game. Turns out that B4 spitfire versus B1 ARO isn't so fine when it's within 8" and the ARO is a boarding shotgun! Also, the Spitfire's 24" max optimum range really hurts it compared to the HMG. It's a fine mid-fielder, but still... ouch. Magister Knight was man of the match tonight, no question. The extra order from being Impetuous is actually really nice to have, and though the lack of cover hurts it really does make you feel okay about thematically charging headlong at the enemy. Dodging on 17 and having at least some long range potential thanks to the Panzerfaust were both really strong. The Magister actually killed more models than any of my other troops, and survived to boot! Corbeau fucked around with this message at 08:10 on Jan 27, 2015 |

Holy hell that Venice table is absolutely amazing. More pictures with the water mat down please! Who was that guy who used to post here that had some super-amazing handmade table he'd spent ages on? Fix, was it? He made like a slum town on one half and then some more clean big buildings on high ground on the other half, with a ramp leading up to a gate in a dividing wall. Bits of the wall were destructible, and he had fully furnished all the buildings etc. Looked unbelievably good, and he put a lot of pictures up of it.

Cool, that table was just the Xanadu of Infinity. Rules question: in the rulebook missions, it specifies that hackers cannot use repeaters to 'hack' objectives. However it says nothing about specialists using G:Servants to do mission-objective rolls. Is there a consensus on this? I can see why they wouldn't even mention it, since servants aren't in the core rulebook and since (AFAIK) you couldn't use servants in that way under 2014 ITS rules. But I want to believe.

It's been clarified in ITS 2014, most if not all scenarios specifically disallow clicking consoles through G:Servants. However, it's OK to do a heal/repair classified this way.
