I bought this game on hype and because  wasn't much and then ignored it for a year-plus as it became mired in whatever the hell has happened to it and never even touched nightly builds or anything like that. I and probably most people like me who just got the big Steam announcement would genuinely appreciate a new thread or some sort of rundown on the state of the game now this thing has hit from people who've been paying attention.The bit thing for me was always progression because I still like a solid goal to work towards even when I'm building imaginary space-houses. Is this in yet? Is the drat thing actually a good game yet?

The problem with all of these little errors is they're impossible to find until we've uploaded to steam, and uploading a new build to steam takes nearly 30 minutes each time. So we fix one thing and we find something else. It's very frustrating. (from a dev)

So why didn't they loving do all this FIRST, then say "update time!"? It's not like they had to do it today, tomorrow is still January and if they could get it out today all the better. Just do it first and then celebrate.
