I've been going to the gym my entire adult life, and I still don't know the reason why people slam their weights like that. Is there a rational reason for this? edit: did she use her baby belly to help lift that barbell lol? vandelay industries has a new favorite as of 22:37 on Feb 4, 2015 |

Those are rubber plates. They're designed for that. she dropped them, she didn't really slam them down.

I clicked this article expecting to read a bunch of wankery shite about how amazing this gif is that would only serve to entertain me by irritation, but it was actually really good.

The fact that they kept the dynamic sweep of Marge's hair when they did the checkout scene rather than the horrible loving static one in the revamped Simpsons opening even though they were using pixel art says a lot about how much more they care about their craft than the actual producers of the show. I mean look at this bullshit:

I love all the extra characters they added in the skateboarding segment and the isometric driving view: Dead Maude Flanders, Princess Kashmir, the flying bbq pig, The Be Sharps, Poochie, Moleman dressed a Bart, Roy, Ben the talk show bear, the Egg Council guy, Truckasaurus, Stonecutter #1, Surly, Stampy, The Homer (car)

It's been a while since I've watched The Simpsons, but did they fire all their animators or something?

No, it's just been over two decades since they left Klasky Csupo and their dynamic style of animation behind for the much stiffer Film Roman style. Any remaining remnants of that style in animation directors, etc have long since cycled out and been replaced with newer people.

I know nothing about that game. But if Jurassic World is at all good I will go to the store right after and buy that game. I love me some dinosaurs. And Lego games.

Yeah, I don't know if I'd buy a game to re-experience the only good Jurassic Park movie, two movies that sucked, and then a fourth movie that I know basically nothing about yet. But if World is also good then I'd probably enjoy it. Hell, it's another Traveller's Tales LEGO game I'll enjoy it regardless.
