STO is and remains unplayable due to the sheer choking lag. Tried to run a Bug Hunt right now and was alterating between twitching in place, hitting buttons in the hope that something connects, and dying of something I didn't even see. And then afterwards I got promptly booted from the game. At this point I don't know why I'm still trying.

Lag actually seemed improved for me this weekend. Was even able to actually start consistently succeeding in pugs, maybe people are back for the dil week and quality of pugs got better. BHE is still a crap shoot. We even had a goon group fail over the weekend running it. Honestly if they're going to keep making ground and space more and more demanding were going to need separate trait loadouts specific to each. Having to swap out nine traits anytime I decide to want to go to ground or space leaves me just sticking to one region over the other and I bet a lot of terrible pugs on ground are just people not bothering to change traits.

I dig the look of the Rom ship that didn't get a solo shot, up-swept wings are always cool. Most of the KDF stuff looks like generic cargo transports from X-wing, just a slight bit more detail. I almost hate to say it and give anyone an excuse to be lazy but most fed ships go way too far with the idea, I'd be happy with it all being slight variations of the Galaxy and Excelsior but I can understand people want ships that stand out. I was going to make a joke where I posted ships from wing commander and x wing and said they were new KDF ships announced but even despite the 1992-6 graphics they all looked kinda cool. Even when I looked up descent I was like, nope, those are actually kinda cool.

Release upgraded versions of the flagships (Odyssey, Bortas, Scimitar) as actual command flagships, or focus on fighter command and make it a pet specialisation, releasing carriers to support. Naturally, Cryptic did neither.

That's not Cryptic's fault though: That's already a bad Klingon design The other ships look very Klingon Academy era Klank designs, which are awesome. Especially the Quad Nacelle with the two tighter together ones top and the traditional winglet ones bottom.

Yeah all the good torps have a 90 degree arc and are awkward on any beam array build. The other issue is that cruisers don't really have enough tac skills so running a torp effectively almost always means giving up an attack pattern.

There's actually at least three Nazi episodes. The Original Series episode, a two parter on Voyager with Hirogen running a WWII sim on the holodeck and an Enterprise two-parter. So you got plenty of canonical reasons to have aliens running around in SS uniforms.
