The renaming happened over the protests of some of the non-Hispanic San Antonio council members, and even a butthurt Texas judge. As you can see, they failed, and San Antonio is now home to César E Chávez Boulevard. Love my majority Hispanic city.

There was a terror suspect in Minnesota that was put into a reform program, a judge granted the same to another one today. He was arrested for trying to fly to Syria to fight there, I can't find info on the story though (was on the radio today). The picture Skye's looking at is one of the Ferguson images Muir used when he did that short series about how the people who protested racial discrimination there were animals. It's a somewhat interesting coincidence because Ferguson's back in the news again, but I don't think the use of the image is meant to be a reference to the news.
