Beat me to it. The costume is perfectly fine in my opinion. Good costumes for women doesn't automatically mean "cover up any skin". It means "make them more practical, good-looking and less male-gaze cheesecake". Some women do like to wear revealing clothes without having anything to do with what men want to see after all.

In most cases it's not the cut of the costume anyway, it's that the costume is painted on.

"It's cute," he said to himself warily, "but it's not normal."
Starfire actually looks more attractive when she dresses more modestly. The original costume had a bit of a Seventies Barbarella vibe. And the hair...well, it was a simpler time and all that.

Oh wait...more funny comic commentary? Righto.

That's a third-party site. They update more frequently at the artist's Tumblr, and until recently the site you linked wasn't updated at all. I figure you'd want to know.

Oh, nice. I think I started following that one because it had a working feed at the time, but I can deal with Tumblr just fine for that.

So how the gently caress did they get Teen Titans Starfire anyway? Like, TT Robin has some basis in comics form, he's a gadget guy leader who's fairly serious yatta yataa. But I keep seeing a complete disconnect between the show's Starfire and every goddamn comic book version of her.

Well when you wipe away everything that doesn't fit in a child's cartoon you're left with a lot of gaps to fill in.

When in dumbing down a character for a childrens' cartoon you end up drastically improving said character...

Also Hulk looks like an old-timey prospector, I love it :3:

Original Starfire had a fair bit of "Oh, teach me about your strange Earth ways" to her. It's just that it tended to go hand-in-hand with "let me kiss you to learn English, Robin" that more dominated her character.
