When I first encountered ETM, I was living at my mom's house, I had just gotten rid of all my video game consoles, and I was recently unemployed. I needed a distraction. ETM was it. Without further ado,

Trivia round 3: All Midget Trivia Time!

Some of these are easy, some are really really inside aby aseball.

- What was the first name of the guy who triggered the "You know what to do..." call?

Jerry.

quote:

- In the same segment, Eric mentions a really famous person who went to his high school shortly before he did. Who?

Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day.

quote:

- Name the bunnyranch whores Eric took to the Stern show.

Hayley and Cherry.

quote:

- What was the topic of Eric's first call to the show?

Howard said that Kelly Clarkson was fat. ETM insisted she was not, and that she was very attractive.

quote:

- What is the full name of Eric's handler?

Jon Jonsson.

quote:

- What is Eric's favorite band?

Rascal Flatts? i think his ringtone was a Rascal Flatts song.

quote:

- Name at least two things on Eric's amazon wishlist that he himself couldn't even use if he got them.

There were a couple of learn-to-draw books that he couldn't use because of his mangled fingers -- I can't think of anything else off the top of my head though/

quote:

- Name the video game Eric wanted JD to play online with him that JD refused.

Call of Duty?

quote:

- On April 1st 2009, Eric tried to play an incredibly stupid prank on the show which backfired. What was it?

The joke was that he had won big at a casino and that he was going to use the money to become part-owner of the Bunny Ranch. It caused him to lose a promotional giveaway that the show was doing at the time -- by the time he called back and was ready to come clean, the money had already been given away. Classic.

quote:

- Why did Eric refuse to provide a voice on a Cartoon Network show?

It had "satanic" themes.

quote:

- What is Eric's favorite food?

Mac & cheese and Pepsi.

quote:

- Name the show's designated 'ETM expert' caller.

Wow, not a clue.

quote:

- What did Eric do to get Katherine McPhee's number?

Measured his penis and gave the length on air.

quote:

- Eric agreed to do the balloon stunt in late 2006 if two conditions were met. One condition was reasonable, one was completely ridiculous. What were the conditions?

I think he wanted safety harnesses or something (reasonable) and then he also wanted a date with Kelly Clarkson. I can't remember.
quote:

- Where did Eric attend high school?

*shrug*

quote:

- Eric purports to have an associate's degree in what?
Communications?

quote:

- Name at least two products that "sponsored" Eric and he hawked on the Show and his jfsc show.

Beezit (sp?) and Socko (sp?).

quote:

- Who cohosted his in-studio American Idol show? Why was Howard displeased with his job?

Brian Dunkelman. Howard was disappointed because he really wanted to hear Eric reacting to people, and felt like Dunkelman was too eager to take the heat off him.

quote:

- During that show, Richard called in and asked Eric what question?

"How big is your midget cock?

quote:

- Eric has 'quit the show forever' an incredible amount of times. I believe one time I counted them up and it was 7-8 or so. Name the reason behind three of the times he quit.

1) Howard talked poo poo about Chris Benoit after he murdered his family and committed suicide
2) Howard was mean to Kendra, his fake girlfriend

I can't think of a third one.

quote:

- Before Sirius, Eric called in during an interview of a woman he is a big fan of. Howard asked if he ever beat off to this woman, and Eric refused to answer. The woman said she'd be offended if he hadn't. Who was this woman?

Complete guess, but it sounds like something Adrianne Curry would say.

quote:

- Blue Iris has prank called Eric posing as at least two different women. Name them.

Florence Nightingale and Katharine McPhee.

quote:

Wow I know a lot about that little midget. RIP, brotha.

*sad high-five*

Howard's first little rant about that woman's podcast was correct. She's literally no one, has no topic, or reason to be doing a podcast. But his one on Wednesdays show...holy poo poo, he is completely out of touch with the reality of where radio is right now.

All correct but the last one. Impressive on the Steph McMahon, I wasn't sure anyone would get it.

Somehow about 6 months ago I went down the "wrestlers on Howard Stern" rabbit hole. It started with the Rock coming in and throwing balloons at Double A and next thing I knew I listened to like 7 straight hours of wrestlers and Howard Stern. Anyway, good to know part of my brain is occupied by the knowledge regarding Eric the Midget's masturbation in regards to Stephanie McMahon, but I can't remember actual important poo poo that impacts my life :(

Speaking of, I instantly knew Kurt Angle, Diana Degarmo, and Natalie Maines were in the studio but no way I can remember those whores names.

While on the subject of my favorite human being of all time, the other week at work I dropped a zero point zero, 4 people looked at me clueless, and one dude started laughing his rear end off. Yep, he used to listen every day also.

Howard's inability to understand that there are podcasts that have huge followings, where people do actually make money, is baffling to me. Then I remember he's like a million years old and I guess it makes more sense. But still, you'd think one of the people there would say something, but I guess they're all worried about getting made fun of by him for it or something? The whole rant was weird as gently caress.

Yes and no. The soon to be retiring and Fox News demographics still do (for now), but the technologically savvy have switched to (take your pick) iPods/Pandora/Spotify/Youtube for their music needs. Sirius skews younger than terrestrial radio, but apparently not by much.

Right, terrestrial and Sirius both skew older, the difference is the moolah. Sirius is for wealthier people, and radio for poor folks. I read somewhere that Spanish language radio is struggling a bit as Mexican Americans become wealthier.

This is one reason why the callers to Howard's show got so much worse when he moved to Sirius. You don't get a lot of homeless lunatics with a satellite-radio subscription.

that is kind of like saying there "X number of youtube shows". I don't know what makes something an official podcast or not, but a lot of dudes are more than willing to ramble into a microphone for an hour, three times a week. The trick is getting people to listen or pay you to speak. I'd say the number of "successful" podcasts is even lower.

I don't know if I'd call Artie's podcast successful yet or not.
