Still an hour away and my nerves are acting up. This is going to be a painful/edgy day. Free-to-Air digital in Australia is a joke. The quality was better 12 years ago. Every network just throws as many garbage channels they can into the bandwidth they're allowed to maximise ad revenue. If you want a decent sports broadcast you're looking at $90 a month and even that's not as good as it should be.

This only works if you follow two or three sports at a time - if you follow a bunch or just four or five in any great detail then sub fees start to add up pretty quickly.

Within Australia alone you have V8 Supercars, the NRL, Super Rugby, the A League and AFL on top cricket. Those aren't minor sports and the overlap between fans is likely to be pretty large. Then you've got sports with ex-pats competing like Formula One, the international Rugby series and the respective World Cups for Rugby, Football and Cricket again. And that's before you hit American Sport. This weekend alone is the Cricket World Cup Final, round-robin Super Rugby, A-League, NRL games, Formula One from Malaysia and V8 Supercars in Tazzie. It's really not hard to be all over five or six sports in a weekend, let alone a year.

Australia batting first, unchanged side from the QF. This worries me a bit, I feel India are better at chasing a target than setting one.

From the pitch reports this looks like a road, good toss to win. Still tough setting a total with ODI's the way they are against this Indian team. An arrogant innings or two from the likes of Kholi and they can chase down anything.

Kohli and Dhoni are ridiculously good chasers but Australia can easily bat India out of the game if Warner or Maxwell fire.

I'd probably rather Australia wins, as most of the initial ticket sales would've gone to Indians assuming they were making the final, meaning the crowd support would be more behind them.
