70 mega pixels of a negative by Stingray of Doom, on Flickr Mama Press with a 6x9 back and Pan F+. Tried to see how much resolving power I could get out of the combo. It is kinda neat, even if the actual photo is bland.

6x9 Pan F+ is amazing. So much fine detail. I get about 45 mp out of my scanner at 2400 dpi. Closer to 65 mp if I scan at 3200 but I think that's beyond the optical limits of the scanner at that point. It's also the cheapest Ilford film for some reason BANME.sh fucked around with this message at 20:32 on Apr 9, 2015 |

Pan F is really cool film. I rarely buy it because it's so hard to justify shooting an entire roll of the stuff unless you have something specific in mind you're going to shoot. It's a pity it isn't available as sheet film, it's really where it needs to be.

You could of course use a rollfilm back for 6x12 or 6x17 cm. Alternatively, look into some of the odd German films. http://www.macodirect.de/films-blackwhite-films-sheet-films-127cm-rollei-rollei-sheet-film-102x127cm-4x525-sheet-p-3103.html
