Dang, how much wider is the front track than the rear track, and why?

The Midniter posted:Dang, how much wider is the front track than the rear track, and why? Someone fabbed a suspension with the towers extending above the dashboard. I don't think keeping the wheels in line was a design goal. Maybe they justify it by claiming it helps with stability in turns?

angryhampster posted:I know nothing about them other than appearance. What's so great about them? Fantastic interior space, very versatile, lots of personality due to the hosed up aesthetics, other owners will wave at you, no-one likes being overtaken by one. Either that or the chemicals leaching out of the interior are addictive.

Drop it, slap a set of nice rims on it and a Multipla would actually look pretty cool. This is a photoshop but I can't find the guy with the black one at the minute, looks sweet.

We already established in the motorcycle thread that you have poor taste. I'm seriously questioning if you're actually a child of the 90s right now. It was MEANT to look like a fighter jet cockpit/instrumentation, so it is indeed awesome by definition. glyph posted:
The owner does rock climbing, and wanted something to get back to his favorite/new spots to climb. He didn't need an uber-offroader, just something a bit more capable than the stock Golf. As I recall, it used Tiguan bits, and was destined to be supercharged as well. Cough cough blue and orange cough. Boy, must be getting too much of the exhaust in here. I should open a window. (I have no idea how anyone can look at this and think it's going to be worthwhile except for the sheer HURR DURR A MEDIA REFERENCE I GET. But that's just my opinion amirite.)

Speaking of which, I just saw the town's first anime girl car in the wild, as the area continues to be overrun by Asian college students' parents spending insaaaane amounts of money on cars.
