Ah I knew of the 968 but was under the impression it was only the late model convertibles which is why in my mind it had the seperate designation.

I'm gonna take the time for select uploads to imgur for those of you not on facebook. Does anyone else get hard for all original (aside from the obvious visual mods such as hood, engine, and cage) 13,000 mile 1967 Mustangs that ran Bonneville in '68 and '69 with Edelbrock 390s? ----------------

So when BMW/Audi announced their new headlights that run high constantly and change the cutoff for oncoming traffic it was said that the system isn't legal in the US because the highbeams are no longer on a switch. I drove a Tesla today... it has auto high beams. Automatically turns highs on when it detects no oncoming traffic or car ahead of you. Why can't BMW/Audi do this? There is still a high beam switch, you just don't need to use it when you click the auto highbeam button.

Auto high-beams sound like something else that can break.

Apparently current BMWs also have auto highbeams. I'm talking about these lights though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WvK5WC4ns0

Just in case working on real cars was getting too easy, some Finnish dude is making a car building game: http://www.johannesrojola.com/msc/ The geocities look is part of the humor, if you have an hour to burn watch the dude's video because it's hilarious. He adjusts valves, talks about lovely radio music, drinks and drives, and talks about how Forza or GT4 is about mastrubating to shiny cars. The game even comes with a van you use for part runs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0IZ_TEzg7M&t=1618s Later on he gets stuck in a ditch and tries to use a milk crate of beer under the tire for traction before rolling the car. "I don't think I can turn this over with the beer case."

SyHopeful posted:I thought the Trailblazer SS was RWD only? The regular TBs had some kind of GM in-house clutch type AWD that also had low range, and it was by all accounts complete junk. The SS actually had a Torsen center diff and thus full time mechanical AWD, which was fine except now that all the wheels had all the traction all the time, and an LS2 under the hood, the transmissions only lasted about 35k miles between failures.
