Got back into this about a week ago and hit 50 yesterday. Figure it's about time I got back into what really makes the game worth playing. Requesting an invite to TheNextGooneration. Took a look at the new lockbox ships. If that Xindi-Insectoid ship rotates like the Suliban cell ship does, this will all have been worth it.

I remember when we used to get excited about new ships because of all the tricks we could pull off with them in PVP and PVE queues, before those died. Apart from looking at them and repeating solo missions what else is there to use the new ones for? (endlessly spamming crystalline entity doesn't count)

DLed this game for the first time when the Delta thing started and am currently level 55. I am not sure how to efficiently spend all the resources thrown at me so if you guys dont mind me asking dumb questions non-stop I would appreciate an invite to the channel. (Kiko Mizuhara@hazyhazyhazy) For example, is it better to use all the free reputation points to max a faction or two or should I be spreading them out evenly to use as many possible each day? That sort of thing.

Some of the Reps have decent gear that you can use, but pretty much all of them also have a small dil reward at the end of around 30k or so.

Without sponsorship tokens, maxing a faction costs 1,225 marks. That's. It taking into account side projects like buying consoles and gear along the way. It's a good start.

With sponsorship tokens, it's a little north of six hundred marks to Tier 5 a rep. The Delta Recruit system doesn't give you enough to T5 all six reps, but if you use the Iconian data rewards, you can max out two, I think, and get good starts on the other four. The Dyson, Nukara, and 8472 grant 32k dil with nothing more than talking to a few people. The New Rom grants 32k dil, but you have to run long, annoying ground missions to get it. Omega rep only grants 9k dil, but it also gives the klanks some of the best costumes in the game. Does the Delta rep grant 32k? I don't remember.

The best way to grind out reps these days is to exploit the poo poo out of the daily 55 marks bonus. Head to Tau Dewa do a patrol collect 65 marks, got to the dyson sphere do a quick mission collect 65 marks, go to the undine battlezone and cap a point, pop over to the delta quadrant and shoot up argala, pug a Crystaline Catastrophe and then one of the borg normals and you've got enough marks to keep all 6 ticking for two days in less than an hour. As for the gear I'd burn some of those delta bonuses on getting an extra 500 marks for the zero point console and the rest for omega marks for the assimilated console and the cutting beam. You'll need 1000 marks for the borg stuff but they're way easier to grind than the Romulan marks.

You know I just noticed that the Pilot specialisation announcement showed a Sovereign Class using a pilot skill. Also to celebrate season 10 they're doing a giveaway event! Where you can earn... badges, emotes and titles.

Two new episodes, two space STFs, one ground STF, an Iconian War Reputation with the various sets, Pilot Spec Tree, skills and ships, A revamp of Sector Space to make it all in three large maps, Fleet T6 ships. Those are the big points, I think. Looking at the sector space revamp new map, I hope they let you enter Sol from both Alpha and Beta quadrant maps.
