Yeah Origa's fantastic and I cannot recommend enough looking into her work. Her two performances in this game are absolutely amazing and I really can't express how much I'm looking forward to getting to them. They're probably two/thirds of my favorite three tracks from the game (though they're all pretty great). Mostly done with the update, like an hour or so? The power of Moe, really? What the hell is with this game. Though admittedly the scenes between Cass and Sarly were nice, and I liked that Delta really didn't do anything to affect Sarly directly because he is not as close to her as Cass is.

I'm not a fan of the new, goofier dives. I could not even finish reading this one. See! Truly Godawful hamhandedness where a single word is stretched to the breaking point as a substitute for actually describing a character! See! People appearing as cartoon sheep for no loving reason! See! The reader completely giving up on trying to figure out who the gently caress is who when they are in sheep form! See! Truly Godawful crap involving some fucktard prattling on about whatever the hell "moe" is. Go away and die. Making them a joint thing between two characters doesn't help at all and just makes it more confusing. So is Sarly the one who hates friends? Or since this is diving into Cass, is she the one with friendship issues? And if this is Sarly's issue what does it have to do with Cass? It's just muddled. It really does not help clear up the confusion at all seeing a bunch of characters in the dive that we have not met in the real world. I absolutely could not follow who was what and who they were in the real world and who they were supposed to me and that made me give up. It's revealed in Ciel Nosurge that (this isn't really a spoiler since it has nothing to do with Ar Nosurge, but just in case)it's the "neuro-key" developed by the evil government as part of a brainwashing program for dissidents. So everyone grows up loving Nyuroki and when they go to Nyuroki-land they come out loving the government too. Cass and Sarly discover this during Ciel Nosurge, and while they're horrified, they think of it mostly as a misuse of their beloved Nyuroki and love it anyway. So they're basically programmed to love it. People who aren't programmed to love it just kind of look at them funny and accept it as a weird quirk.

Like, the first Genometrics with just Cass presents itself as tsun-tsun Cass who wants Delta to just gently caress off and dere-dere Cass who wants to just gently caress Delta, as an exaggerated metaphor for Cass not really knowing how to reconcile and express her feelings for this guy she crushes on but who also opened the gate to let the murder aliens in. You know, that'd make my impression of a guy mixed, too. So there's this giant monster Delta looming because Cass is kinda scared of the guy who let the murder aliens in, but it doesn't do anything because Delta must've had good reasons to open the gate and can't be all bad. It's presented with extremes because this is raw mindspace. So unless the higher levels just completely fumble I'm going to give the weird poo poo the benefit of the doubt because this is not this company's first rodeo with metaphorical mind dimensions being weird as hell.

Yeah Sarly 1 really suffers from not knowing who the gently caress Shirotaka is. Ion's role in the Dive is so minimal that knowing more about her doesn't really change much (though when we learn more about her it may or may not be kind of funny which side Sarly envisions she's on) and it might be best to let Nelo remain a mystery.

I haven't played the game with the english voices yet, but does Nelo has an extremely deadpan voice in the japanese dub that doesn't even change if she gets clobbered up or anything, at least for this dive. It's pretty funny and I wonder if they managed to get some decent voice actors at least. That said this was probably my least favorite dive in the whole game, the song magic is amazing though.

I agree with Cass. Delta is far too suspicious, probably a sleeper agent or some such rather than actually a traitor though. The fact that he was allowed to open a restaurant or something after whatever super bad thing he did is strange enough (I forget exactly what it was, he enabled an invasion?). But the fact that he has genometrics or whatever with the enemy is a pretty big loving deal in this universe, isn't it? Can't you only do that with people you are close to, and with both people willing or something?

Throwing them into the middle of cliffhanger seems like it would just exacerbate the problem.

Hey Feinne, could you consider splitting up the dives into more than two updates if they're all going to go as long as the last one? I can understand her frustration. I mean, Delta is a potential threat to her entire organization but is acting like absolutely nothing is out of the ordinary. He lost huge chunks of his memory but somehow seems far less concerned about the whole thing than he should be.

So, they have to go back to enemy territory to do something, after breaking out a prisoner and fleeing their troops. And they are stymied by having a guarded front door and a locked side door, and have no idea how to get in. ... Those obstacles were completely forseeable, and they had no plan to bypass them? For such an important mission, they probably should have planned better, maybe brought a cutting torch or something. At least the problem wasn't solved by Prim, that would have been quite obnoxious. Cass's suspicions of Delta are welcome and well-overdue. I'm pretty sure he's been brainwashed. Sarly defended him, but SHE was in the enemy's hands too, so she could also be brainwashed. Feinne, can you include some videos of combat, please?

Yes, I'll make sure to get a good video of a regular fight in the next couple of updates. We'll also have a proper boss fight in the next real update, which will show off a lot of the new fight mechanics we're high enough level for now. So, I'm actively working something right now to try and remedy the situation with this side content. I might actually have Sarly's ready tonight, so we can get back to the plot sooner. We started out this game with Cass and her organization knowing or at least highly suspecting that Delta had been compromised. I guess she just didn't want to accept it.
