I just marathoned this show because I can't sleep and this show is fantastic. The first three episodes are so sweet that I may have developed diabetes. I was also cringing a lot but it was the good kind of cringe if that makes sense.

Just watched episode 1 following seeing a (spoiler, obviously) webm of a certain scene from episode 4 accompanied by Gureen Lagan music and I want to see how the hell it gets to that. Observations so far; 1) Takeo is awesome 2) Rinko is hella squeeky which is odd because Megumi Han is not typically squeeky. 3) I was ready to assault viz with cold hard cash for the Digital Manga but that ain't happening cuz

Why else would she be feeling distressed at being called pure-hearted? It's also entirely in line with Takeo's character to misinterpret Yamato's feelings, and it represents a sensitive communication issue that many couples face early in a relationship, and doubly so for people in their first relationship. I like that the sensible resolution to this is Sloppy makeouts, though I doubt we'll see that happen. Even when they get past this though, I get the feeling that Takeo drawing the wrong conclusion about Yamato is going to be a recurring theme, it's basically the only strictly negative character trait he has right now. So far it hasn't been a big deal, but I could see it causing a big conflict later on, specifically toward the end of the series/season. I think a couple of little bits were added in this episode. I don't remember Afro's video. Ai (?), Suna's sis, is another good character and I like the sassy voice she has in this.
