He got his narrow coalition, but he had to give up a lot of concessions to the Jewish Home Party, and has the narrowest possible margin for error with his coalition. As it is currently constituted, this coalition will probably collapse within a year. edit: everyone should google Ayelet Shaked to learn more about Israel's new justice minister. As a US citizen it's weird as hell to hear Israelis complain about how awful it is to have more than two or three political parties.

Oh wait.

I'd rather have a representative system like Israel's, but let's not forget, for example, who was the last third party Presidential candidate to get electoral votes? Nope, it wasn't Perot—it was George Wallace. If we had a parliament overnight, we'd probably see some kind of grand coalition to maintain a cordon sanitaire against the socialists and the white supremacists (just like Bibi would have preferred probably).

A stunning example of Zionist hypocrisy and entitlement. Cry discrimination while forcing indigenous people to live like prisoners. Israel has become a decadent tribute to the West's hubris.

My Imaginary GF posted:Answer the question. How many Jews have voting rights in Palestine? How many Arabs have voting rights in Israel? Palestine is not an independent country, but is under military occupation by Tzahal. The Jews who live in Palestine are settlers, who have the right to vote for the elections of the occupant power, whereas the Arabs do not. Arabs who live in Israel do have the right to vote; but not those who live in Palestine. That means that in the total territory under the total and complete control of the Israeli army and government, 100% of the Jews have the right to vote while only 40% of the Arabs have the right to vote.

Put tall walls around these areas of concentrated poverty, with the US Marines controlling the few remaining access points; randomly bomb and bulldoze some of the buildings just for the lulz, and deny the inhabitants the right to vote. Pretty sure rocket attacks wouldn't take long to follow.

It would probably be one that seeks to root out and arrest the actual perpetrators of the attacks, and not one which bulldoses entire neighborhoods and bombs houses and then also builds enclaves of the rich neighborhood in other poor neighborhoods as retribution.
