Also 5/6 of us were medics so we had all the darts. All of them. Phosphene posted:Give zerkers a chance that scales with level to move and attack at regular speed during zed time. God that would own. Or make it one of their lv25 Zed Time perks. I also like the idea of giving Commando or some other class the ability to pop off a ZedTime once a wave or something, then everyone could coordinate and focus down that last raging Scrake.

I don't know how but apparently, and this is what I assume happened, a Bloat's moobs' jiggle bones got stuck in the floor while he was still alive. What I do know for sure is that while he was walking around, his moobs extended about three feet out and flapped up and down rapidly as he slowly walked.

I had one sort of get pinned between a pillar and a console on that snow map and suddenly flew around for like a second before dropping into a more normal position and puking on me, it was hilarious.

I think I just shot a husk until he was stunned right as he was about to fire his weapon, so he shot the floor beneath him and launched about 100 feet into the air right as Zed time kicked in. I wish I could have recorded it. I would have put it to the 2001 theme and watched it 20 times an hour.

There is a freeware driver that allows you to tap into the same hardware that enables Shadowplay for nvidea. I just can't recall the first ati card that had the hardware for it.

Newer (which should be anything post 7xxx series I think) AMD cards can use Raptr which has much of the same functionality as Shadowplay. If you want to make gifs it has a pretty great replay/DVR feature.

I know of raptr's software for ATI cards. Thing is it's far from fool proof. It doesn't seem to let you record whatever game you want to attempt a recording for, it needs to be on the list and detected. On top of that it seemed crash prone if you turned on recording.

I've never had any of these problems The only time I've ever had an issue was streaming World to Warcraft straight to twitch and that was because one of the updates to WOW full on broke that functionality for a month. Recording video, clips, and screenshots were unaffected.

Moddb comment posted:That's good to hear (that Alex Quick, creator of KF1, isn't working on this), because since the trailer video came out, I stopped liking this one. It looks like it was made by 14 year olds for 13 year olds. Not technically speaking, but from the way the scary stuff from KF is now 'below the top' ridicule. I could have lived better with "over the top", but that would have been a big departure from the KF standard and perhaps a different game.

Manor was also my first KF map. I remember not knowing what to do and just kept the two doors to the dining room welded for dear life. Next map was farm with 18 people and 10 of them ran off to the edge to... RP or something.

Maybe the M4 just doesn't come into its own until you can use tactical reload, but when I can get an AA-12 next round I can't find a reason to buy it. I guess if I'd died on the wave before Hans, and there was no way I could scrape together money for both armour and an AA-12, and I was playing solo or my team was broke?

KF2 Combat Shotgun blows. And I am an exclusive Support player. And another thing. Higher level Support players shouldn't have to worry about running out of AA-12 ammo. There should be some kind of payoff for leveling up that much. I'm not saying they should get unlimited ammo. But running out shouldn't be a mid-wave inevitability. DoombatINC posted:"The Combat Shotgun Is Super Duper Bad" has been a topic of conversation here a few times, hope they're listening At least it doesn't feel like AS MUCH of a waste of space as the KF1 version, just because at least this one deals a touch more damage than the generic pump action (and doesn't have a slower reload? Maybe?). But there is no loving way it deserves to be 8, weight (I'm convinced this is just so you can't take it+AA12 without the weight talent, or anything BUT them with), and only 6 shots makes it not worth the semi-auto gimmick for the pricetag and weight when you got the AA12 right there for 10 weight and 400 bucks more. Or the much more cost effective boomstick for vaporizing a doorway full of trash with two shells. The combat shotgun really, REALLY needs some kind of notable edge over the alternatives. By improving it, not making the alternatives worse. Especially if they are going to make it weigh 8 The simplest thing I can think of would be giving it the strongest single shots by a good margin, and ramped up penetration. Not enough to match magdumping with an AA12 obviously, but definitely enough to make you take notice.

Or the much more cost effective boomstick for vaporizing a doorway full of trash with two shells. For 8 weight, if it could outpace the AA12's damage with a full mag dump that'd be absolutely fine. It only has 6 shots and then you need to reload each shell individually, but if the damage on those 6 shots could outpace 10 or 15 shots with the AA12 in total damage? Then maybe people would seriously consider it for Scrake and Fleshpound killing. Mind, my favorite solution would be to drop its weight down to 4 or 5 but buffing its damage to actually be worth 8 weight is another solution too.

Slybo posted:KF2 Combat Shotgun blows. Almost as if they should get increased shotgun ammo per level? http://kf-wiki.com/wiki/Support_specialist#Perk_Ladder In all seriousness though I'm not sure about some of the classes' bonuses compared to KF1, seems like they nerfed some, removed others, and put the rest into the skill system. Running out of ammo is too easy as a Support (moreso than KF1 when I used to carry a .44 or MK23 for small trash groups to conserve ammo), it's too easy to die as a Berserker, Commando's trash mop-up can be done almost as well with Medic, and Medic is the best. Armorer and Vaccination is loving amazing, I'm getting 10 armor when I heal myself and 6 on non-medics. And so far nothing can catch me when I'm running except when they teleport ahead of me. Unless Hans is meant to be the slowest of the 3 bosses, Scrakes, FPs, and the Pat would be able to run medics down by Suicidal in KF1, if I recall correctly. And I agree with the Combat Shotgun. I always used it in KF1 (even though I still complained that its obscene price tag outweighed any benefits) because I had a strategy with it against Scrakes/FPs dumping 6 shots in their face point-blank, but back then the regular/combat shotgun weighed the same and did more damage per shot than the AA12. Sacrificing 2 rounds in the tube for semi-auto fire and 5 extra damage still isn't worth it, especially when the SG 500 off-perk can kill almost anything up to Scrakes in one or two shots. The combat shotgun either needs to weigh less, do more damage, or have a greater ammo pool capacity. Otherwise just skip it and pay 400 dosh more for a gun with a 20-round mag, over 30 more rounds, and 10 more damage for only 2 weight blocks more.
