It's really cool in terms of a function>form philosophy, but I do have to admit I'm a little saddened by how much the aero disrupts the contours of the body. Then again, the RX-7 is my #1 bedroom poster car.

Yeah, I've never driven anything that's attracted as much positive attention as this. Every time you park you have to budget 10-15 minutes to answer all the questions.

That seems suboptimal given what happens to F1 racers the first time any of their aero gets chipped. But I bet it makes for a great looking fireball in the movie!

Jesus that's a lot of downforce. Friend of mine who has that big blue J truck on one ton axles and 40s that I've posted bought a second J truck because one isn't enough. Factory 401 Golden Eagle edition. He's putting an LS in it because it'll cost half as much as doing a rebuild on the 401 that'll get it to a few hundred horses less, but enough about that... I mentioned escorts (my partner had a mk2 when I met her), cortinas (my grandmother had a mk2, a mate had a mk1), mustangs (another friend had a 1970 fastback), and of course the gt40 - never sold here of course either but I couldn't not mention one of my favourite supercars - I would even be interested in a kit car of them. In the 1980s australia , ford withdrew the v8 falcon, we got the nissan made ford corsair and mazda made laser, meteor and telstar, instead of the euro sierra, fiesta or escort. Ford AU started with mazda partnership assembling CKD but were looking to go their own way in body design and even looking to Kia soon.. So from a personal perspective, 80s ford wasn't very good. But on the plus side, globally speaking, you could argue that ford even aced that decade and have always had the best cars all the time I guess, (somewhere, not necessarily available to you) Fo3 fucked around with this message at 10:29 on May 10, 2015 |
