Yup. Bonuses from cards will stack with bonuses from gear. There's a Help menu under the settings menu that has money values and stacking info. Basically, gear can stack with other gear and cards, but cards will use the best of each and won't stack. Edit: I'm guessing their thinking is that double stamina cost is to balance the ridiculous combos you can get going. It's disappointing, but at least it doesn't cost rubies. Edit: What is with me and Swype when it comes to with/wroth? I've never actually meant to use wroth except in these two sentences. Onean fucked around with this message at 06:49 on May 11, 2015 |

Hopefully last Pocket Miner 2 post...? I just wanted to check in to say it's definitely worth it to put in everyone's friend code... It looks like you only get the bonus stuff for inviting people, but you actually get the bonus stuff based on the friends you've added. I've got a poo poo ton of cash to spend now.

I thought I would jump on the Pocket Miner 2 hype train, until I got past the tutorial and found out the levels auto-scroll and you get a game over for going off the top. Too bad, it looks fun, but I just can't play mobile games that can't be dropped and ignored at a moment's notice. Got to pretend to work while I'm playing games, after all.

This is why, to me, Galaxy Trucker is almost perfect. I say 'almost' because a lot of the time, if I hit the power button to put my phone in standby, trying to get back into the game after that is difficult. Other than that, yay pausable gameplay.

I've hopped on the pocket miner bandwagon and added a few goons, but to be honest I have no idea what I'm doing. I just tap the ground and the camera starts moving on it's own so I feel I have to go faster then it says my pick is broken?

Levels last like 30 seconds, if even that. If you have to drop it at a moments notice, you still get all the money/gear. You only lose a battery for the run, I guess. Doesn't seem that crazy to me.

Different types of blocks take more durability from your pick. Crates and dirt alway take 1 durability so a lot of it is about trying to use dirt blocks and explosions to open up the next cave that you can move to the bottom of. A couple tips: You can tap anywhere that isn't ground to move your guy there without hitting a block. You can queue taps so you can set up chains of blocks to hit while your guy is navigating around.

A lot of people have jumped in, but if you add the list of goons linked earlier and claim the rewards, you get a poo poo ton of cash and can upgrade your pick a bunch of times. I think mine is up to ~100 taps before breaking rather than the starting 30 or so, and that's almost certainly due to goons. I wish the +Energy purchase wasn't so much. I gave the game $1 for the bundle deal that it was advertising because I'm digging it and that was entirely Google Home Depot Fun Bux, but $5 to take your max energy from 5 to 8? That's pushing it..

5 more goons and my friends list will be full! If you jump on now and take the time to add all the people it puts you at a huge advantage. Wonder how much of the game that burns by eliminating a ton of grinding? I do still get some frantic challenge to the game, just trying to keep up with everything, but having tens of thousands of bux to upgrade my pick is huge.
