See, I don't consider Cephalotripsy to be wigger-slam since they are missing the biggest key component to wigger-slam: they don't dress like wiggers. Epicardiectomy on the other hand are not only wigger-slam, but they are loving terrible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M6SWafRBhQ A TURGID FATSO fucked around with this message at 06:21 on Jun 9, 2015 |

E: speaking of LLN bands, Drakkar put up the Vlad Tepes discography on their bandcamp last year, and it's probably the best they've ever sounded, I think they got hold of the original masters. Much better than most of the old CD releases which were sourced from tapes iirc. A human heart fucked around with this message at 13:42 on Jun 9, 2015 |

A human heart posted:Aren't Mütiilation playing that? Go see if they're any good now. I agree, that's the best they've ever sounded and it's really nice to have proper, definitive versions rather than dubbed tapes and rips from them. The 2013 editions and "Anthologie Noire" were from original first generation tapes of the original mix. The 2014 editions were taken from the original tapes - Wlad remixed and remastered them to try to present it as cleanly as possible from the original tapes. The "Black Legions Metal" split sounded very poor due to a bad transfer of a DAT tape. The Torgeist tracks from that one are from "Time of Sabbath" and the 2008 CD version of that sounds great. The Vlad Tepes tracks were alternate versions of the songs from "Dans Notre Chute..." which used the same drum and bass tracks but had the guitars recorded in a different style - these were earlier tape-traded/bootlegged as "Brouillons I" though they were recorded after "Brouillons II" and before "Dans Notre Chute..."

I loved the way a part of the metal audience stood there looking like what the gently caress is going on when they put on Method Man's Bring the Pain in between songs. I can't help myself liking wimps like Fred Durst, eventhough he's a massive rear end.
