I read something about Ashley dropping from Chairman and McClaren also having a position on the board, is that bollocks?

Is this related to any of Ashley's efforts to get more control of Rangers?

Today is good weather
for an airstrike.
I think Ashley was on the board in name only. He had practically no input, football wise. It'll be awkward McClaren being on the board if he's poo poo, but it's better than the lovely no-manager set up we have where they have little input on transfers. He should have a better say than Pardew or Carver had.

We're supposedly close to getting Van Ginkel on a years loan.

Ashley's investment in Rangers isn't going as well as he'd hoped so I doubt it

He's spent the last 18 months doing gently caress all. I don't know about the rest of Europe but I can't see any of the English or Spanish CL clubs going for him. Especially if he's after regular first-team football.

RIP Abou Diaby you seemed like you would be good and then a telemarketer destroyed your ankle. You did some other cool stuff, like kicking John Terry in the face and breaking Samir Nasri's leg, and showing up occasionally to destroy Liverpool. Just RIP.

If he wants any shot at playing at the Euros next year he has to be first choice so I can see West Ham happening.

I'm optimistic about McClaren now that Carver and Stone have both been sacked and he can bring in his own coaches. Can't do much worse than the last few years under Pardew unless he does get us relegated

I would take Navas at Liverpool in a heartbeat.

Also I hope United sign a bunch of clown car goalkeepers like they did when Schmeichel left.

Ayew is a pretty good signing for Swansea isn't it?

Box-to-Box. Kind of similar to Kouyate. Which will allow Noble to go back into the defensive role that Alex Song occupied last year rather than playing alongside Kouyate.

You'd hope so with the midfield options you have.

Sturridge will score goals provided he can get onto the pitch.
