i'm positing an ideal world where people believe in the societal ideal of free speech rather than the narrow "it means the government can't put you in jail and nothing else" definition, so they don't care that a communication medium allows people with distasteful ideas to communicate anyway i think i'm done here because nobody's going to change their mind and i'm seriously bummed that someone thought "well what about when YOU want to shut someone up" was a good argument
