It's going to follow the usual inverse difficulty curve of using a rare substance that you have to use monitor how you use in the start eventually you learn to live without using it until mid-late game where you have a near endless supply.

Yeah, this seems like the most obvious thing. I remember in Fallout 3 previews they said stuff like "We aren't worried about giving you powerful weaponry early on because we can limit your use of it with ammo/weapon deterioration." This power armor thing seems to be another example of that. frajaqs avatar is reminding me that I really like revolvers in video games and I hope there's a fun revolver to shoot in Fallout 4. Maybe you can put a comically long barrel on it, too

By activating the terminal by the door of Fawkes room in Vault 87, and using the 'Identify Specimen' function, you will find that the cell's inhabitant was called 'Specimen D164'. A different terminal in a room close to Fawkes' cell contains data on 5 specimens, stating that D164 was a female. However, Fawkes is not Specimen D164, as the terminal also states that all specimens were terminated.

The laser pistol is shown (apparently) upgrading into a "long pistol" (rifle barrel with pistol grip) and then a rifle (rifle barrel and stock) so I would guess that you might be able to put a rifle barrel on your revolver if you want to.

The combat montage showed a feral ghoul at one point. Too fast to really notice any detail, but I think it looked like the design in the supermarket from the original trailer.

So it looks like there's the possibility for vehicles in this one too. One of the clips was of the main character getting inside a vertibird, and although the scene immediately following that was him as just the gunner, maybe you can pilot it as well? Which means the framework is there for other vehicles like the Highwayman? Or a motorcycle with your companion in a comically-small sidecar? If the land vehicle stuff is half-baked or non-existent I hope the Mad Max game is good because I need my fix. SexyCommando fucked around with this message at 00:13 on Jun 17, 2015 |
