they run better in windows because the "native" OS X games you're talking about are actually using what amounts to a wine wrapper. it's usually faster in loving VMware

no any of the ones written in modern engines like unreal 3 are running native in opengl and its just that osx is really slow and garbage. its not meant to be used for people who want things to happen quickly.
