Speaking of which I found an old article the other day around the era of when black people were allowed into competitive sports, it referenced something about the heel bone being longer in "africans" which allowed them to run faster and was therefore an unfair advantage. Wish I knew where I saw it (it was on reddit) so I could post a link it also had reference to their genetics and something about being their ancestors being chased by lions Intruder posted:Beardo but I actually can't grow anything on my cheeks and have a goatee irl Full beard or bust.

When they cloned Watt they had to use the DNA from a puny, effeminate skills player to fill the holes. That's why he sometimes feels compelled to play TE.

What sort of profession doesn't allow beards? Beards are awesome in the fall and winter but I usually shave mine off for summer, there's basically no such thing as AC here so a beard in 85 degree weather isn't the most comfortable thing.

For those of you who were interested in Darth Brooks' cool historical football posts: Mike Tanier has a new article up about football in WW2. It is a pretty cool look at the sport, and country, during that time. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2511021-first-in-war-third-in-the-aafc-the-story-of-pro-footballs-yankees-and-dodgers quote:By 1945, there was no reason to station any significant naval resources on the Great Lakes. The entire Blue Jackets team, except for coach Brown, was shipped off to Fleet City in Shoemaker, California. The relocated Blue Jackets scored 165 points in their first two games (!) of the 1945 season, then tore through a schedule full of other military bases and California semi-pro teams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMYxcw2bCvs

I don't know what he does, but I know as someone who's working in mining that mine rescue teams have to be clean shaven. Respirators can't get a good seal on a beard. I would imagine that firefighters have the same regs. Or really any profession where wearing a respirator is part of the job.

It's why we can have staches but not beards, the mask has to form an airtight seal so the bad stuff don't get in. Although, I think that has been debunked to a degree but whatever.

Yeah my understanding was that stubble or short beards were fine. It was more an issue with big full bushy beards. I know on our site you don't have to be 100% clean shaven to be on the rescue crew, you just can't grow a big ole beard.
